Yeah thanks man this is a Game breaker, and it's been spreaded online and its incredible easy to get it all you have to be is in a game with some one who is infected.

I found a video on it, just as you are dying (fight for your life) you will freeze up and free roam

According to a thread on the Gearbox forums, this glitch prevents a character from respawning after dying in the game. Instead, the camera just pans above their characters dead body and goes into free mode. If the player chooses to do things like load another character, exit the game, or restart the console, the save file is renamed into graveyard.sav, and cant be recovered.

you can recover them by changing back to .sav

Yes it there is a fix but that involves modding programs, some may not want to use them

Also its only xbox atm. Pc and Ps3 should be ok
