Sinister Creepypasta made by me... ****SPOILERS IN THIS CREEPYPASTA, IF YOU WANT TO SEE THE MOVIE STILL DO NOT READ IT FOR IT SPOILS THE ENTIRE THING****





"Isnt this fun kids?" I said to my children as we carried moving boxes into our new house. "Its a brand new start, a new school, a new place, this house feels better than our old one". My son rolled his eyes without saying anything.

"I liked our old house better, daddy." said my daughter, Emily.

"Well honey, thats what everyone thinks in the beginning, but it will get better" I said

"You promise, daddy?" she asked

"I Promise, sweetheart."


I begin looking around my new house, I notice in the backyard there is a broken branch. I think to myself "I wonder how that happened?" The branch was big enough that it couldn't have been the wind, and the cut was clean enough that It didnt look like lightning had caused it. I shrugged it off like it was nothing and went on my way. After a long day of driving I decided a nap was in order. I slept for 3 hours and awoke to my daughter asking for paint. I get out of bed searching the boxes and find some Crayola brand paint. Being the parentrs that we are, my wife and I allowed her to express herself by painting on her bedroom wall. She drew unicorns and slightly eerie looking children holding balloons. I complimented her on her great work then walked into my office. My wife comes in and says


"The police are here, they would like to have a word with you."

"Again? This is gonna be good"

I walk outside and find 3 police cars, The sheriff walks up to me and says


"We dont take a liking to your kind in our town. You make us cops look bad"

"I write the truth sir, the real cases, the unsolved and unjustified, it is not my fault that you cannot finish your cases to the end."

"We'd prefer if you left our town as soon as possible" he said

"Bite me, It is my freedom to live in this town sir and I will do as i please" I said

"Dont expect help from the police if you come under any trouble"

"I dont plan on it" I said


I am a writer of the famous book "Kentucky Blood" Which was about the murders in kentucky that had gone unsolved and I may have done some smallb bad mouthing of the police... but never mind that. I walk back inside and sit down in the kitchen. My wife comes in and says

"Please dont tell me you said anything to harsh the the officer"

"Of course not." I said lying thru my teeth

"Good" She paused "Honey, Im worried. About this, about our lives, It just doesnt feel right."

"Its gonna be perfect, I will have the inspiration for my writing right here, everything i need"

"Dear god ellison, Please dont tell me we moved right down the street from another gruesome murder."

"Honey look at me, I would never do that again, I promise you" I said


She smiled and departed from the kitchen, I went back to my office and began to do some work and research for my new book. I look at the clock, boy time flies, its already midnight.

I walk out into the kitchen and grab a glass of water, I see some boxes not yet put away, so I decide to bring them into the attic. As I ascend up the steps to the attic with loud creeks, I hear footsteps near me, but think nothing of it. I enter the attic, I look down and see a scorpian scurry across my shoe. Surprised and frightened I crush it with the heavy boxes. I look into the darkness of the attic and find a box of tapes and a movie projector. I think to myself "Hell i have nothing else to do, I might as well see what some of the movies are" I walk downstairs to my office. I blow off the dust from the projector and plug it in. I read the labels on the tapes. The read the following:


Hanging with the family '67

BBQ '74

Pool party '84

Sleepy time '98

A night in the yard '99


"hmmmmmm" I think. Might aswell start from the beginning, I put in "Hanging with the family" I decide I should take notes and see if there may be any links to the murders in this house. I take out my notepad, load on the first film pour myself a drink of whiskey and sit back and watch. The video starts with a family, a father and son playing football, while one daughter plays on a tire swing and the other sits in the grass chatting with the mother. I write down on my notepad "Who is filming this?" The video goes on for about 5minutes and takes a sudden and extremely disturbing turn. The video cuts out and opens to a 4 people, bags over heads and nooses around their neck. They are tied to the very same branch I had seen earlier... a unseen power grabs the axe and begins to cut the branch, as the branch lowers the 4 people begin risings, the branch is cut completely and the family is about 15 feet off the ground, struggling to breath. I watch horrified at what I am seeing. I continue watching until the last person stops struggling. The video cuts off and I sit there completely speechless to what I've just seen.



Quickly I undo the tape put it back in the box and go to sleep. I am unable to sleep the whole night. By 3:28am I realize there is no way I will be able to get to sleep, so I open the projector back up. I look at BBQ, terrified to know what it is, yet curious... I pop it in, get another glass of whiskey to settle my nerves and begin to watch. It starts out with a family, The 2 sons are fishing while the father cooks and the mother supervises the children. Everything is happy go lucky, as i expected everything took a turn for the worst. The video cuts away and comes back to the a car. Everything has turned dark and eerie. One dim glowing light, illuminates the car. Chains lock the entire car, preventing the doors from being opened. The camera pans to the windows where the family is seen half asleep locked in duct tape and rope. 3 out of the 4 family members are seen, one son is missing. The video pans to the front of the car where a religious satanic looking cult symbol is painted on. The maker of the video proceeds to Throw a molotov cocktail into the car, muffled screams are heard, just barely. The video cuts off after about 3 minutes of burning. I sat there in complete shock. It is 5:30am, I take 3 big swigs from the whiskey bottle, eventually finising it and passing out on the floor. I wake up to my daughter yelling at my wife in the other room...


"We gave you the privilage of drawing on ur walls, but you abused it!"

"NO MOMMY, YOU SAID I COULD PAINT ANYTHING!"

"Not this! This is depressing and vial!"

I walk out to the hallway and ask what is wrong.


"Your daughter painted this on the wall!"

I look over to see a picture of 4 hanging bodies. Terrified, I reprimand my daughter and tell her to go to her room. I go into my office and look over at the projector. I think to myself, "I need to see more, this book I write could make me millions!" I look back at the two tapes I have already watched and reanalyze them. I check for anything hinting to the monster who may have done this, I recorded the videos with my camcorder and uploaded them to my computer so I could watch them frame by frame. I search thru Hanging with the family 25 times, the images burned into my memory.

UPDATE 7-16-2008
I took a short break then watched it one more time. Thats when I saw it. The face. This face was the face of no mortal being, but a demon of some sort. It was horrific... this was what I saw....I will speak to you tomorrow, I am too distressed to talk right now...
