I Joined because i liked what they had to offer, such as Forza Forums, BattleField forums and what not, also, some of the people on here are very helpful!

I personally like many others joined for mw2 lobbies awhile back. Now I just stay because it's a great site. Also, rep is for more than lobbies...

I originally joined for mods and to leech but that was a year and a half ago. I wish more people would use TTG for ways besides getting free mods, but I still get mods from here quite a bit. I think if people actually spent time on here they would realize how cool it is. Thats what I did and I figured out it was cool to talk to people about tech stuff and video games or about anything else. But going back to your point on rep, I honestly never look at the rep of someone and get an idea of who they are(unless someone with one post is posting about free 10th). I dont think rep really determines someones status on the site, and I'm not trying to say that people with high rep are bad. I have probably helped out more people than people with higher rep than me. Bottom line is I dont think that rep does what it should.

Some of the most well known members on this site are modders. Their reputation alone helps the site, but I agree, there are many things wrong about the reputation of this site.

To be perfectly honest i joined to learn how to mod cod 4 with a usb ages ago when that could be done!
Times have changed though!
The site used to be so much better and members were so much nicer to you!
You could start a topic and not have every second person flaming or trolling you!
The reputation of the site has got worse as well!
It used to be all about helping each other out and in some ways still is but there are far top many leechers as you have said!
Its just got worse and worse!
In all honesty its got to the point where there are so many leechers, flamers, trolls and people who are obsessed with post count and rep that i never use the site anymore!
i only visit out of boredom!
Dont get me wrong the site is still really useful!
I still do use the site for android help and Pc help and i do try and help people back when i can!
but as i have said its just got to a point where the site is too crowded!

lol at the people who think this is about the rep system, not TTG actual reputation.
OT: I know I have friends that think TTG is all mods, and I think that's what most people think. If they see somebody that mentions TTG on xbox, they call them a hacker. They really don't know what this site really is.
