Dev Kit 360 Neighborhood HELP

Hey TTG, I believe this is my first post on this forum, but I think you guys will be able to offer me some help with my dev kit(s)
I have 2 xenon dev kits (I might sell one) but I need help setting up 360 neighborhood+ I need some info on the usb DVD drive emulation. I have the fisrt NXE Dash on both XDKs and I want to know both, what 360 Neighborhood version should I get for this dash, + should I update/ connect to Pnet(as far as I know, these Have never connected) and what kernel do I get? Any response would be helpful, (btw, the reason I dont update is because I essentially just test out little games I make, I dont need/ want to risk messing up when updating)
