Hate to burst your bubble but finding diamonds isn't that hard. All you have to do is dig down to about layer 12 or 13 (layers for finding diamonds commonly) then dig in any direction you want.

Me and my friend dug down to layer 12 then started digging sideways. About 6 blocks later we found 5 diamond. 4 blocks along after that, we found 6 more. We headed in the other direction and found a couple more after about 30 seconds of digging.

Thats What I said in the Video, It's not hard to find Diamonds, but I am making a Tutorial for the ones who need help finding Diamonds.

Seriously, get prepared before the video starts rolling.
ALSO, basically all you said is dig down into caves and find diamond, that doesn't help people at all.
Your second method was blow everything up, that doesn't really work either.
Go to around 12>16 and dig sideways, voila you found diamonds.
