Hey guys, The_Elder_Scrolls here, and i've been experimenting with the ArmA 2 mod DayZ and I have found a few ways to fix SOME of the lag!

Method 1 - CpuCount

1. Open steam
2. Right click on ArmA 2 or ArmA 2: Operation Arrowhead and click Properties
3. Click Set Launch Options
4. Type in this: -CpuCount=#
But change '#' to the amount of CPUs you have (to find that run DxDiag)
This will change the CPU usage that way it's using ALL of your CPUs ;)

ADDING MORE SOON!

The parts I've highlighted don't make sense, therefore the tutorial can't possibly work. Unless by "number of CPU's" you mean the number of cores you have?

If you go to your documents>arma 2> then go to ArmaA2 CFG file then open it with notepad then change the numbers after this GPU_MaxFramesAhead and this GPU_DetectedFramesAhead and change them both to 1 and also do this in the Operation arrowhead one too. HELPS ALOT.
