Buy that, OP.

This will support an overclocked processor, 2 separate video cards and the one on the motherboard?

Yes, and it has all the proper connectors to boot. Awesome unit; unbeatable for the price.

Sorry for reviving an old topic, but I found an OCZ 1000w supply for $100 on NCIX and thought that would probably future-proof my computer for a while. So my question is: Is OCZ a quality company? Thanks

I would avoid OCZ PSUs. This topic will also probably be closed because you gravedug it, but if you still need help you can PM me. For the dual 6970 rig, my recommendation of the Hive 750 still holds.

The PSU wattage only refers to the maximum rated output. It's not like it's always drawing its rated wattage from the wall, that would be ridiculous!

Haha yes I do understand that part now. The only reason I was looking at the OCZ one is because it has a total of 6 PCIe connectors. Anyway, thanks! I will just get the Rosewill.

Yeah, for two 6970s the Hive is perfect as it has four 6+2 pin PCI-E connectors. Plenty of wattage.
