going to have to do restore again...

No... All you have to do is remove the Nvidia components and install the AMD ones. Reboot after you do ANYTHING. Don't worry about aero being disabled. Without working drivers, Aero will not work.

Restore did nothing. Aero still disabled and I cant find anything to do with NVIDIA on my pc

Please help. i have to go to bed soon

Have you used the Nvidia driver installer to see if it gives you the option to uninstall? What about the AMD driver auto-detector after that?

Yea and now the auto detect things still says i have correct drivers

Also when I tried reinstalling windows it failed and now everytime i boot i get this - [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Edit- Doing this will delete all previous drivers, and you will reinstall them again after booting.

Try overclocking your graphics card. If performance doesn't improve, it is being held back by something other than the graphics card. Here's a sort of overclocking guide from Techpowerup that can make it easy.

Fans won't produce enough heat if they're operating within spec to cause damage. Lower voltage will result in less friction so it's pretty much impossible that there will be more heat. There's no need to worry about the heat of your fans.

Just go with low-profile RAM that's cheaper. The speed difference will have zero impact on performance. You can also get everything from Scan for a hair cheaper.
