Nuketown 2025 will be a futuristic version of the original Nuketown map that featured in the previous Black Ops game. This will be a downloadable bonus map for those who pre-ordered the game. Currently, it's not clear whether or not players can purchase the map at a later date.

Turbine is one of the maps that was shown in the multiplayer reveal trailer. Reddit user zamzarvideo stitched a layout of Turbine together using various screenshots of the minimap:

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

As you can see, it's pretty large and it seems to have a lot of mounds/upstanding rocks, similar to those found on the beach in Crisis in the original Black Ops. If you recall correctly, this one has a downed passenger jet, which the player can climb and run across. It's referred to as Turbine because it's set in a coastal region that has a lot of wind turbines surrounding it:

Aftermath is another map that was shown in the multiplayer reveal trailer. As opposed to Turbine, which seems to have little cover from enemy air support, Aftermath looks like it has a number of bombed and collapsed buildings that the player can enter. This one is set in an urban area in Los Angeles that has just been attacked:

Those are currently the only two maps released to the source i am using, but i will up day you guys when more comes out.

Although we don't know all of the details yet; Treyarch developers have talked about certain elements of Black Ops 2 Zombies in recent interviews. To quote Treyarch's Mark Lamia, it will be the "most ambitious zombies effort yet".

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

The image above was released by the official Call of Duty website. As you can see, it's a woman with a shotgun thrown over her shoulder and a zombie head dangling from her hand. Nobody actually knows if she's going to be in the game or not. If she is; she will be in fact, the first playable female character in a COD game (Correction: As somebody else pointed out, she won't be the first playable character because Sarah Michelle Gellar featured in the previous game).

Multiplayer Engine:
During the past several months, several Treyarch developers have candidly spoken about porting the zombies game mode over onto the main multiplayer engine. According to them, this will allow for much more possibilities, which include:

Larger Maps:
Come November, players will be treated to larger Zombie maps and worlds. Having the game mode play on the main multiplayer engine will allow them to achieve such a feat.

8 Players:
They will be doubling the amount of players that can play co-op together. In the previous game, you could only party it up with 3 other players. This time around, you'll be able to team up with 7 people.

More Zombies:
The multiplayer engine also allows for twice as many zombies, which means that players will find it difficult not to be overrun by my hoards of flesh eating members of the undead. Personally, I can't wait to see the mayhem and carnage that more players and scores of the walking dead are going to cause.

Wildcards in Black Ops 2 are intended to mix things up. They extend and bend the system rules for class setups. Wildcards work like other class items in the sense that once you choose one, it takes up one of your available class slots.

Primary Gunfighter:
Primary Gunfighter allows you to select a 3rd attachment for your Primary Weapon. In the past, we've been used to perks that allow the player to select a 2nd attachment, so it'll be extremely interesting to see what kind of combinations players will come up with now that we know Black Ops 2 will be providing them with the option to select a third.

Secondary Gunfighter:
Secondary Gunfighter will allow you to select a 2nd attachment for your Secondary Weapon. In essence, it kind of works like Bling Pro from MW2.

Overkill:
The Overkill Wildcard will act just Overkill perk from previous COD games. This will allow you to equip two primary weapons. My guess is that this will be extremely popular among players using the Assault Shield, as it could provide them with the opportunity to fire an AR via the hole in it's shield.

Danger Close:
No, it's not the horrible perk that we saw in previous games. In Black Ops 2, Danger Close will allow you to select a second piece of lethal equipment. For example, if you wanted two semtex grenades or two battle axes, this would be a good choice.

Perk 1 Greed:
Perk 1 Greed will allow you to pick a second perk from the first perk tier. So, if you want to use Ghost and Blind Eye together, this will be the right option for you.

Perk 2 Greed:
Perk 2 Greed will allow you to select a second perk from the second perk tier. Could be used combine the perks "Toughness" and "Fast Hands".

Perk 3 Greed:
Yep, you guess it. Perk 3 Greed will give you the ability to choose a second perk from the third perk tier.

Tactician:
The Tactician Wildcard will allow to select a second piece of tactical equipment, AT THE EXPENSE of your lethal equipment. i.e. If you decide that you want a second stun grenade, you'll have to give up your lethal equipment.

It looks as if Treyarch have decided to revamp the entire class system for Black Ops 2. During the multiplayer reveal trailer, we were treated to several screenshots of class setups. Here are some valuable pieces of information that the COD community has been able to glean from the aforementioned screenshots:

20 Slots
Black Ops 2 will have 20 class slots. These are broken down into:

1 Primary Weapon
3 Primary Weapon Attachments
1 Secondary Weapon
2 Secondary Weapon Attachments
6 Perks
1 Lethal Grenade / Equipment
2 Tactical Grenade / Equipment
3 Wildcards.

Out of these 20 slots, you can only choose 10 items. This means that the create a class feature will be far more varied and flexible than it was before.

Flexibility:
One screenshot highlights just how flexible the create a class system will be. On a class called MostlyUseMeBlad, you can see that the player hasn't selected a primary weapon. Instead, he's using a pistol as a secondary and six perks:

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

At the bottom of the class setup screen, you can also see the 3 "mysterious" slots that were mentioned above. It is now known that these slots will contain 3 Wildcards that will allow you to "bend the rules" a little. For example, one of them allows you to pick 3 attachments for your primary weapon.

Here's another class setup called "ShotgunSark":

Flak Jacket:
Flak Jacket is a perk that allows the player to receive less damage from explosives such as hand grenades and bouncing bettys. This one appeared in the previous Black Ops game.

Ghost:
Ghost is back, much to everyone's horror... The good news? It's not nearly as powerful this time around. Ghost will only make you invisible to UAVs... IF you are MOVING. i.e. if you sit in a corner, Ghost isn't going to stop you from showing up on the enemy radar. No more stealth camping for you, champ!

Blind Eye:
Blind Eye is another one than has appeared before. This will make you invisible to AI-controlled killstreaks. You'll still be visible to player-controlled killstreaks, if their eyesight is good enough.

Lightweight:
Lightweight allows you to take no falling damage. It also allows you to move faster / run quicker. Although, it's worth noting that Lightweight has only a small effect. You're much better off using Extreme Conditioning with an SMG or a Shotgun.

Hardline:
These are all starting to sound familiar, huh? Hardline makes it easier for you to get your killstreaks by making every killstreak achievable with one less kill.

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Scavenger:
Scavenger is a perk that allows you to pick up ammo and grenades from fallen foes. When using Scavenger, small bags of ammunition will appear beside the dead bodies of enemy players.

Hard-Wired:
Hard-Wired is a new one. It kind of works like Assassin Pro, in the sense that it makes you immune to the Counter UAV and Enemy EMPs. Counter UAVs block your radar and EMPs take down all enemy electronics (including your radar).

Toughness:
Another new one. This allows you to flinch less whenever you get shot. This works like the Focus proficiency found in MW3. In case you didn't already know, taking damage in COD will cause your aim to go off target. Toughness will lessen the effect of it and allow you to finish off your opponent.

Cold Blooded:
Looks like all of the stealth perks are being broken up into 3 pieces in order to prevent them from becoming too overpowered. This one makes you immune to Target Finders, Player-controlled killstreaks and Sensor Grenades. In some of the footage, you'll see that certain futuristic scopes put a red box around enemy players. Cold Blooded will get rid of this effect.

Fast Hands:
Fast Hands allows you to use your equipment much more quickly (stun grenades and flash grenades). This works like Quickdraw Pro in MW3. In Black Ops 2, it'll also allow you to safely throw back a frag grenade.

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Engineer:
Engineer works like Sitrep or Hacker. It will allow the player to see enemy equipment through walls etc (it highlights them in red). It'll also make it possible for the player to booby trap care packages (so that they blow up when enemy players try to capture them) and re-roll care packages to get higher killstreaks.

Extreme Conditioning:
Extreme Conditioning gives the player the ability to sprint for much longer distances. This is similar to Marathon, which featured in the previous Treyarch game.

Dead Silence:
Dead Silence is similar to Ninja, which has been in many of the previous Call of Duty games. This makes your footsteps silent. Extremely important for game modes such as Search and Destroy, where sound whoring is extremely common.

Dexterity:
Dexterity is also a new one. This works like Marathon Pro from MW2. It will allow you to climb over obstacles and climb up ladders at a much faster rate. It'll also give you the benefit of being able to recover from a melee attack (i.e. a knife attack). Ever knife the air by mistake, only for your character to be stuck in that lengthy animation? Dexterity will allow you to recover from that animation at a faster rate.

Tactical Mask:
Tactical Mask reduces the effect of stun grenades, flash grenades and and shock charges. Extremely useful, especially in games such as Dom, where enemy players will toss everything they have at B flag.

Awareness:
The Awareness perk in Black Ops 2 will act like Sitrep Pro in the sense that it will allow the player to hear enemy footsteps much more loudly and much more clearly. Not sure if this will actually counteract Dead Silence or not.

All of the perk information that is in this thread has been proven false. Anything you read below this line is unlikely to appear in the game.

The perk slots have not been created yet. Each perk in Black Ops will have a base version and two different variants called: Elite and Pro.

- The Pro variant can be un-locked by leveling up and completing challenges.
- The Elite variant can only be used in conjunction with another perk!

Spy:
Spy allows you to appear on the enemy's mini-map as a friend. i.e. You'll show up as a green team mate on the mini-map. This obviously has it's fair share of advantages and disadvantages. On one hand, you can fool the enemy team into thinking you're one of them. However, on the other hand, if you're in a 1v1 situation in a game mode such as Search and Destroy, the enemy player will instantly know your position. Spy is an interesting perk to say the least.

Spy Pro: This allows you to identify enemy players that are using the Spy perk.

Spy Elite: If you have the Pilot perk selected, your killstreak will show up on the mini-map as a friendly killstreak to enemy players (i.e. it'll show enemy players a green helicopter etc).

Escape Artist:
Escape Artist allows you to feign / fake death while you are diving into a prone position. So basically, when you're going into a prone position, the animation will look as if you have just died. Not sure if I like the thought of this being a perk to be honest. Not sure how they'll implement this correctly. Apparently, you can not shoot while you are faking death (that's a relief).

Escape Artist Pro: While you are diving into prone / approaching your (fake) death, the enemy's crosshairs will turn back to a white color and the red name above your head will disappear. This obviously makes the animation more believable to enemy players.

Escape Artist Elite: If you have the Diver perk selected, Escape Artist Elite will allow to realistically fall into a death animation instead of actually diving.

Audiophile:
Audiophile allows you to see players that are using silenced weapons. However, you will only be able to see them if they are shooting at you or if they are nearby.

Audiophile Pro: This makes enemy footsteps louder (Like Sitrep Pro).

Audiophile Elite: If you have the perk Bladesman selected, knifing will show up on your radar. i.e. if an enemy player knifes somebody, he or she will appear as a red dot on the mini-map.

Defuser:
Defuser allows you to throw all equipment (except frag grenades) twice as far. When you go to throw your equipment, a circled timer will appear in place of your crosshairs. This timer obviously lets you decide how far you want to throw your sticky semtex etc. The timer lasts for 3 seconds. If you throw it at 0-1 seconds, it will go the regular distance. If you throw it at 3 seconds, it'll go twice as far as normal.

Defuser Pro: Lets you pick up enemy equipment and use it as your own (claymores etc). Also allows you to take semtex off yourself/team mates and throw it back.

Defuser Elite: If you have the perk Quickdraw selected, the circled timer will last for 1.5 seconds instead of 3.

Juggernaut:
Juggernaut will allow you to regain health faster WHILE you are moving. i.e. it will not work like the Juggernaut perk found in COD 4, which gave you extra health. Your health will not regain faster if you are standing/crouching in a stationary position.

Juggernaut Pro: This lets you regain your health faster while you are crouching.

Juggernaut Elite: If you have the perk Scavenger selected, you will be able to drop ammo packs for your team mates.

Diver:
Diver allows you to dive into cover. AKA, it will allow you to Dolphin Dive. Apparently, you can actually shoot while you are diving. However, once you hit the floor, it will take a while for you to recover and begin shooting again.

Diver Pro: This allows you to crawl along the floor at twice the normal rate. i.e you'll be crawling faster.

Diver Elite: If you have the perk Extreme Conditioning selected, you can crawl 3 times faster if you hold down the spring button (left analog stick).

Pilot:
Pilot allows your flying killstreaks to count towards your next killstreak. i.e. the killstreak will loop.

Pilot Pro: Your controllable killstreaks (chopper gunner etc) will last until they are shot down. i.e. they won't have a timer.

Pilot Elite: If you have the perk Blind Eye selected, your killstreaks will not show up on the mini-map.

Technician:
Technician allows your ground killstreaks (dogs etc) to count towards your next killstreak.

Technician Pro: Your Advanced UAV will disable the enemy's UAV.

Technician Elite: If you have the perk Defuser on, your sentries can not be taken down straight away. I'm not entirely sure what this means. This is how the source that leaked this information phrased it.

Bladesman:

Bladesman allows you to carry two knives instead of one (a knife in each hand). This basically allows your knife to kill twice as fast (according to the leak, regular knives won't be a one hit kill).

Bladesman Pro: This gives you the chance to avoid an enemy player's knife lunge. Not sure if this is based on "luck" or if you have to hit a certain button.

Bladesman Elite: If you have the perk Assassin selected, knifing will be completely silent. Your knife kill also won't appear on the killfeed. This is unless the enemy player is using Audiophile Elite.

Consciousness:
Consciousness allows you be as accurate as you are while prone. When a player is prone, the recoil on his gun is less than usual. Consciousness allows you to be just as accurate while standing up.

Consciousness Pro: When you shoot an enemy, they will flinch more than usual. In case you didn't know, flinching is basically when your aim gets pushed off because you're taking damage.

Consciousness Elite: If you have the Marksman perk active, shooting your enemy will leave them as a red dot on the mini-map. This is similar to Recon Pro in MW3.

Focus
Focus allows you to shoot while sprinting. I'm guessing that SMG rushers will favor this perk. However, sprinting and shooting at the same time will lead to a deduction in accuracy.

Focus Pro: Allows you to shoot while jumping.

Focus Elite: If you have Stalker selected as a perk, enemy equipment such as claymores will cause less damage if you're jumping.

Deep Impact:
Deep Impact allows you to shoot through hard surfaces.

Deep Impact Pro: Your bullets will gain 50% extra damage for each enemy player that they go through

Deep Impact Elite: If you have Steady Aim selected, your bullets will gain 10% extra damage for each enemy player that they go through while you are hip-firing.

Assault Rifles:
This is a complete list of the Assault Rifles that will appear in Black Ops 2.

AN-94:
The AN-94 was developed in Russia. It has been in service since 1997. It has an effective range of up to 700 meters and it can rattle off 600 rounds per minute. This was one of the assault rifles to make an appearance in the multiplayer reveal trailer. If you remember correctly, this gun was used by the player who was firing at enemies via a hole in his Assault Shield.

SMR:
The SMR appeared in a few of the multiplayer videos that were put up on Youtube this week. This doesn't seem to be based on any real life weapon. Because the game is set in the future, this has given Treyarch the flexibility to create fictional weapons.

M8A1:
This appeared in the trailer reveal. The M8A1 is based on the XM8 assault rifle, which was developed by Heckler & Koch. It's gas-operated with a rotating bolt and it can fire 750 rounds per minute. In-game, it seems to be a burst-fire / select-fire weapon that shoots 4 rounds per trigger pull. It has low recoil and a reload time of about 3 seconds.

Type 25:
Not to be confused with the Type 95 that appeared in MW3. In Black Ops 2, the Type 25 is an automatic bullpup Assault Rifle. Fun fact: A similar-named weapon also appeared in the Halo series. In-game, it has low recoil and it carries 30 rounds by default. Like many of the other weapons, I have been unable to find a real-life version.

SA58:
The SA58 is a weapon that is closely related to the FN FAL. The name SA58 is pretty ambiguous though, as there are about 20 or 30 real-life assault weapons that have have a similar name. Here's a picture of what the SA-58 potentially looks like:

Sig 556:
In real life, the Sig 556 is actually a commercial variant of the SG 551 that lacks full-auto capabilities. It was developed in Switzerland and has been in service since 1990.

SCAR-H:
The SCAR-H first appeared in MW2. After seeing the multiplayer footage for Black Ops 2, I think it's safe to say that it'll be one of the Assault Rifles in the game. In case you didn't already know, the H stands for Heavy. In real life, it has been in service since 2009. In previous games, the SCAR-H was a powerful Assault Rifle that had a low rate of fire.

SMGs:
This is a list of SMGs that will appear in the multiplayer for Black Ops 2.

MP7:
It's official. The MP7 will be returning. This was one of the most powerful SMGs in MW3. In Black Ops 2, it seems as if this gun has an even faster rate of fire than before. This is a German submachine gun that was developed by Heckler & Koch. It has been produced since 2001 and according to it's Wiki page, it's basically designed to work like a scaled-down AR.

Chicom QCB:
This one was first shown in the single player campaign mode footage back in June/July. The Chicom CQB is an automatic bullpup SMG that boasts 40 rounds per magazine. It's important to note that the Chicom doesn't actually exist in real life.

PDW-57:
The PDW-57 appeared in the multiplayer reveal trailer. During the trailer, you could see that the player was using some sort of special scope that allowed him to see enemy figures through surfaces. So far, I've been unable to find any information on real-life variants. In-game, this gun can hold 50 rounds per magazine, which is pretty healthy, to be honest.

Skorpion EVO 3:
The Skorpion EVO 3 was developed in the Czech Republic. In real life, it's magazine capacity can hold up to 20 or 30 rounds. Its usage began in Slovakia back in 2002. Other variants of this weapon have appeared in COD games over the years.

MSMC:
The MSMC was shown during gameplay clips of the multiplayer. This is a real life weapon that is called "The Modern Sub Machine Carbine". Developed in India, it can fire off 700 rounds per minute. This particular SMG was designed in a way that allowed it be fired with only one hand (like the Uzi). It has a magazine capacity of about 30 rounds.

LMGs:
This is a list of the LMGs / Light Machine Guns that will be featured in the Black Ops 2 multiplayer. So far, these are the only ones that have been confirmed as being legitimate. Note that this list does not include weapons found in the single player campaign mode.

LSAT:
The LSAT LMG was developed in the USA and Germany after the Joint Service Small Arms Program challenged the defence industry to design lighter guns and ammunition.

QBB-LSW:
The QBB-LSW was developed in the People's Republic of China. It has been in services since 1997. It is actually a LMG variant of the Chinese Type 95 family. This weapon normally uses heavy magazine gun cartridges that have long range and some insane power.

MK 48:
The MK 48 boasts 100 rounds per magazine and a full automatic fire rate. Developed in the USA and Beligium, it is currently used by USSOCOM and has been in production since 2003. Although the screenshot below is from the single story, it's safe to say that the MK 48 look exactly the same in the multiplayer mode.

Sniper Rifles:
This is a list of the Sniper Rifles that will appear in Black Ops 2. NOTE: These are the only ones that have been confirmed so far.

DSR-50:
The DSR-50 first appeared in the multiplayer reveal. This is a bolt-action sniper rifle that is described as being "anti-material". This particular weapon was developed by DSR-Precision in Germany.

SVU-AS:
The SVU-AS is Russian in origin and it's design is mainly based on the Dragunov SVD. Apparently, the "SVU project" began back in the 1970s when the Russian's decided that they wanted a compact sniper rifle for it's airborne division. In-game, it acts as a semi-automatic and it seems to handle just like Dragunov did back in the previous Black Ops game. Technical details include "gas operated" and "rotating bolt" design. As you see, it looks pretty lightweight:

Ballista:
The remarkable thing about this sniper rifle is that you don't need to use a scope on it. You can use the iron sights and still have a weapon that is capable of a one shot kill. In one piece of footage, a guy was using the Ballista with a red laser beam on it. In real life, it's referred to as the FNH Ballista; a "multi-caliber and modular behemoth" that boasts a "suppressed .338 system".

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Shotguns:
This is a list of the shotguns that will be featured in the Black Ops 2 multiplayer. Note that these are the only shotguns that have been confirmed so far.

M1216:
The M1216 is an automatic shotgun that holds 16 rounds per magazine. After 4 shots have been fired, your character will cycle to the next chamber and continue on firing. It's worth noting that this weapon has appeared in other games before; just not in Call of Duty.

Seiga 12:
The Seiga 12 is a 12 gauge that was designed in the 1990s in Russia. It is currently produced and manufactured by the arms division of Izhmash. One of the remarkable things about this weapon is that it doesn't exactly look like a shotgun. Hell, I'd easily mistake it for an SMG or an AR

R-870 MCS:
I've been unable to find any real life information on the R-870 MCS. All I know is that it appeared in the game Combat Arms. In-game, it's a pump-action that has a 8 shell tubular magazine.

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Pistols:
This is a list of all the pistols that will be featured in the Black Ops 2 multiplayer.

KAP-40:
The KAP-40 is a semi-automatic low-recoil handgun that can hold up to 12 rounds in its magazine.

Tac-45:
In real life, the Tac-45 is called the FNX-45 Tactical Handgun. Developed for U.S. the Joint Combat Pistol Program.

Raging Judge:
The Raging Judge is huge in real life. Seriously, it's looks like some sort of mini cannon. Developed by a company called Taurus, this magnum / revolver can actually hold the .454 Casull, which means that it can take down almost anything. In-game, it's also referred to as The Executioner. It holds 6 rounds and is a semi-automatic. This actually shares the same sound as the Python from the original Black Ops game.

U23-R:
In Black Ops 2, the u23-R will be a 12-round semi-automatic pistol. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any information on any real life variant, so it looks as if Treyarch just decided to dream this one up.

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Launchers:
This is a list of the launchers that will appear in the Black Ops 2 multiplayer. Note that this is a confirmed list and that more might be added to it when further information is released.

SMAW:
The SMAW featured in the previous Call of Duty game. It held 1 round and wasn't really that powerful, to be honest. Compared to the Stinger and the RPG, it comes up second best in almost every way.

FJH-18AA:
The FJH-18AA appeared in the multiplayer reveal trailer. This is a fictional launcher that seems to be just about as powerful as the Stinger from previous COD games. It comes with two rounds / missiles and uses a lock-on mechanism.

RPG:
I don't think this will come as a surprise to anyone seeing as the RPG-7 has been in nearly every single Call of Duty game. Usually, it tends to be one of the last launchers that you can unlock. In-game, it has 2 rounds and it is a free-aim weapon, which means that you can't lock onto enemy killstreaks. The blast from an RPG tends to be pretty powerful in a COD game. Usually, this tends to be the most powerful launcher that you can use against enemy players.

Killstreaks:
Here is a list of all the killstreaks that will appear in Black Ops 2. They've all been ranked and ordered by the amount of points that you need in order to get them.
Killstreaks
Here is a list of all the killstreaks that will appear in Black Ops 2. They've all been ranked and ordered by the amount of points that you need in order to get them (yep, it's no longer just about kills anymore).

RCXD 325Points

The RCXD is a small remote-controlled car that can be detonated by the player. The resulting explosion can be pretty powerful.

UAV 375Points

The UAV is a killstreak that plots the position of enemy players on your minimap.

Hunter Killer 400Points

The Hunter Killer is a new one. It's basically an unmanned airborne drone that seeks out an enemy player and attempts to kill/him. Think of it as an AI-controlled Predator Missile.

Care Package 450Points

The Care Package is returning. These are air-dropped packages that contain a random killstreak (and sometimes, ammo).

Counter UAV 475Points

The Counter UAV will disable the enemy team's minimap / radar for a set amount of time. Often used to counteract enemy UAVs.

Guardian 500Points

The Guardian Turret can be placed down on the ground and pointed towards enemy players. This turret will project microwaves at anyone in front of it, blinding them and impairing their movement. This was seen in the multiplayer reveal trailer.

Hellstorm Missile 525Points

The Hellstorm Missile is basically an air-to-surface cluster bomb that is dropped onto a general location. The missile will fall from the sky and then break apart into multiple cluster bombs, which then blanket the area in question with a lot of explosive power.

Lightning Strike 550Points

The Lightning Strike is kind of like a futuristic version of the Mortar team found in the previous Black Ops game. This killstreak allows you to pinpoint three locations on the map and have them bombed.

Death Machine 600Points

The Death Machine (nice name, eh?) is a large mini-gun similar to the one that featured in the previous Treyarch game. Can be pretty powerful; but you use it at the expense of your movement speed.

Sentry Gun 650Points

This has appeared in previous Call of Duty games. This is an AI-operated turret that automatically fires upon enemy players. The Sentry Gun will point in one direction and scan the scene for enemies. Can be destroyed pretty instantly if it's knifed, which means that you have to be careful about where you place it.

War Machine 700Points

The War Machine isn't just a grenade launcher. It's a SEMI AUTOMATIC grenade launcher that will help you relive the good old days of Ground War on MW2.

Dragonfire 725Points

The Dragonfire is a player-controlled killstreak that hovers in the air. An SMG/AR is attached to the bottom of it, which allows the player to fire upon enemy players. Kind of surprised to see this as a 725 scorestreak because it looks incredibly easy to take down.

AGR 800Points

The AGR is a bi-pedal robot that has guns / cannons attached to it. This thing will rip through other players like a hot knife through butter. This particular one is air-dropped to your location, so keep that in mind if you decide to select it. Although this can be remote controlled, there have been a number of people saying that it can also work on its own AI and search the map for enemies.

Stealth Chopper 850Points

This is basically an attack chopper that does not show up on the enemy's radar. This will automatically roam a section of the map and shoot at other players.

Orbital VSAT 900Points

The Orbital VSAT in Black Ops 2 works much like the Blackbird did. This will show the position of enemies on the map and it will also show you what direction they are headed in. Note that this cannot be shot down.

Escort Drone 1000Points

The Escort Drone is kind of like the AH-6 Overwatch. This is an AI-controlled drone that follows you around the map while trying to protect you.

Warthog 1025Points

The Warthog killstreak is a hovering jet aircraft that makes several swoops across the map while taking shots at enemy players.

EMP Systems 1050Points

An EMP doesn't hurt enemy players. Instead, it takes down all enemy killstreaks and equipment. It also disables the other team's minimap / radar. It's worth noting that an EMP will only work for a set amount of time, after which, the game will return to normal.

Lodestar 1150Points

The Lodestar can be compared to the Reaper. This allows you to guide surface to air missiles with a laser pointer.

VTOL Warship 1200Points

Haven't heard of much information about the VTOL Warship, only that you get to pilot a large warship (duh!!) and shoot the crap out of everybody. Maybe it's just a futuristic version of the Chopper Gunner?

Canine Unit 1275Points

The Canine / K9 Unit is a pack of vicious dogs that will run around the map for about a minute or so and hunt down enemy players. These can rack you up a lot of kills in quick succession. This has been a top-level killstreak in the last two Treyarch games.

Swarm 1400Points

We got to see the Swarm in action in the multiplayer reveal trailer. Basically, the Swarm is a bunch of Hunter Killer drones that will circle around in the sky and automatically attack enemy players on sight. My guess is that this is going to be extremely powerful.

Equipment:
The Equipment in Black Ops 2 can be broken down into two different categories: Tactical Equipment, which aids the player and Lethal Equipment, which can kill enemy players.

Shock Charge:
This is referred to as a shock charge. These can be thrown at an enemy player, and if they land within a certain radius, they will shock / tase / electrocute the player and prevent him from moving. Most people are speculating that these are a futuristic replacement for stun grenades. If you watched the multiplayer reveal trailer, you probably noticed how these things stopped two enemy players in their tracks, allowing the player to pick up two easy kills.

Tactical Insertion:
It looks as if the Tactical Insertion will be returning in Black Ops 2. If you pause the game at a certain point you'll see that the player is shoving some sort of battery into the device. On the battery, the words "3arc Tac" are etched into it. In case you're new to the series: The Tactical Insertion allows the player to choose where he or she will respawn. If you set down a Tactical Insertion on the ground, you'll respawn at that exact point on the map unless an enemy player destroys it before you're killed.

Flash / Stun / Smoke Grenades:
We can rest assured that the Flash, Stun and Smoke grenades will be returning in BO2.

Camera Spike:
The icon above looks like a camera, which could mean that the camera spike will be returning in Black Ops 2. This hasn't been confirmed yet, but it is the most likely explanation.

Sensor Grenade:
This means that while the motion sensor is returning; it's not returning as the defensive-minded piece of equipment that it was in the previous game. The Sensor Grenade will probably give the player a mini-radar/motion sensor once it has been thrown at a spot on the map.

EMP Grenade:
Just like in MW3, the EMP grenade will take down enemy killstreaks and also temporarily disable an enemy players radar if the flash goes off within a close range of him.

Black Hat PDA:
A strange new piece of tactical equipment that will "hack" enemy equipment. It'll also disable enemy vehicles and allow the player to "hack care packages".

C4:
I don't think anyone was surprised to see the return of C4. This piece of lethal equipment has been featured in many of the previous Call of Duty games. This can be thrown at an enemy and then detonated via a remote device. The C4 tends to more powerful than frag grenades and sticky semtex grenades. This is because C4 is a little more difficult to use. It also doesn't have the same range as its lethal counterparts.

Claymore:
The claymore will be returning in Black Ops 2. These can be placed at doorways etc and then triggered by an enemy player tripping the sensors. Claymore explosions in Treyarch games don't have much of a delay, which means that you'll probably be dead before you realize it... unless you're using Flak Jacket, of course.

Bouncing Betty:
Another piece of lethal equipment that was confirmed at Gamescom. This is a proximity mine that will launch into the air and then explode if an enemy player is unfortunate enough to walk over it. It's still not clear if you can evade the resulting explosion by lying down prone. Personally, I don't think going prone should save you, as Bouncing Bettys were incredibly weak in the previous game. Tactical Layout makes it way too easy for people to avoid them.

Semtex:
Confirmed by those who got to play the game early. This lethal grenade can be stuck to surfaces and enemy players. Has less of a range than the frag grenade. It also can't be cooked for a quicker explosion.

Battle Axe:
This is being referred to as the "Battle Axe". It's a cool piece of equipment that will probably be a lot of fun to use. It can be retrieved after being been thrown, which means that you can use it multiple times, as long as you don't lose it or get killed. You can see that the player managed to crack open an enemy's skull with one. In one scene, you can see two Battle Axe emblems in the bottom right corner, which means that you can choose two if you feel like taking up two/ten of your optional class slots.

Frag Grenade:
The good ole fashioned Frag Grenade is back. This can be thrown over long distances. It can also be "cooked" so that enemy players have no time to react once you throw it. This has been in the COD series for a very long time and I don't think we'll be seeing the end of it anytime soon.

Question and Awnsers:

Q: What is the CODcast feature?
A: The CODcast feature is a special spectator mode that allows the player to take on the role of a game commentator. Using the CODcast interface, the CODcaster has the ability to see all of the action in the game by switching between many different views, including a picture-in-picture mode that allows the player to toggle between the game camera and map top-down view. This is the same kind of functionality used by professional commentators on pro gaming circuits, and is now made available to Call of Duty fans everywhere.

Q: What is the live streaming feature?
A: Live streaming is a feature that will be available in League Play and will allow players to broadcast gameplay from their perspective to viewers on the internet.

Q: Can everyone live stream using the in-game feature?
A; The feature will be subject to certain limitations, including for example: meeting the minimum required upstream bandwidth on the streaming players network, meeting the minimum required viewers of a stream, and availability of server network capacity. Stay tuned for more information on this feature in the near future.

Q: Will live streaming be included in game at launch?
A; We will be announcing more about live streaming, including feature release date, in the near future.
