Turn it off, or maybe just un-plug the power cord.
Idk, I'm just guessing, its never happened to me.

The best way to fix this problem is to reset your console back to stock settings. To do this you'll need to go to your system information screen and type in a reset code specific to your console. For a list of reset codes, just google "Xbox Reset Codes" and try each one until you find one that works. You will not lose any data on your hdd, it will only reset your console settings. Your nand will not be effected either.

Hope I helped... Btw I've repaired consoles with this issue just by doing this lol enjoy.

I would recommend contacting the ghost busters.

If you've opened your console up at all, you may have damaged the ribbon cable. If not, try taking like a wet paper towel or something and cleaning off the dvd drive/power button as there maybe someone stuck to the sensors that keeps doing that.
