i have seen quite a few slimes on peaceful its ridiculus

Im not going to lie here I was on my friends server and it was on peaceful I was down mining look for diamonds and all of a sudden i heard noises moving I told my friend this shit is creeping me out. So I waited for him to come and we found like 6 slime's in one area this was before the 1.7.3 update came out by the way.

If slimes spawn on easy and then you save and then go to peaceful they dont despawn they stay there. This is the only mpnster that will do this

The coding states that they can't specifically spawn on peaceful.

return (getSlimeSize() == 1 || worldObj.difficultySetting > 0) && rand.nextInt(10) == 0 &&

Difficulty has to be higher than 0 (peaceful)
