A popular theory, that I agree with is that we are descendants of an Alien civilization that were driven from their home planet due to a cataclysmic natural disaster, like their sun burnt out etc...

This could also be used to explain how the dinosaurs were wiped out. When they arrived, maybe Earth was perfect in their eyes and they just HAD to live here. So they wiped out the dinosaurs and began living here.

If you ask, why aren't we so advanced then? Maybe it was a last minute decision to leave their planet so only a few made it off alive with limited resources.



If people think it's so crazy then perhaps they would like to explain how men lifted 500 ton blocks on top of each other to make monoliths using only a winch system and a bit of rope? Modern day cranes would struggle with this task.
