I suggest start simple, it does cost a substantial amount of money but its a good beginner tool for getting ready for the better programs. I used Fruity Loops (Producer edition) which is around $200 but is worth it. VERY good dubstep has come out of using fruity loops. As you get more expierence i suggest moving on to Ableton Live 8 which is what all the professionals (skrillex, deadmau5, swedish house mafia, etc.) all use to make works of genius. PLUGINS ARE YOUR FRIEND. USE THEM. Buy new plugins and extensions to widen the sounds you are able to produce.

Anytime M8, Message me if you have any questions. For first plugins, look up "Massive" its a plugin that is used for making dubstep. Skrillex is known to use it quite often. I have it and it works really well, you just have to look up tutorials on how to make certain sounds via youtube.
