I'm not so good with PC's, and I need to know what I should get. I know enough, but I wouldn't be able to choose the parts, so I need you guys to do that for me.. If you can link me to a part, or several parts, I'll give you +10 rep per link This is for the UK. I have up 1400 to spend, and this is for the UK.

I forgot to mention *facepalm* at me.

It's mainly for editing purposes but I'll do some gaming too. I also want a really sick looking case 'cos it'll be on a table and very visible

Intel Core i7 2600K
Nvidia Geforce GTX 690 (if your really rich)
Nvidia Geforce GTX 570 (average)
Nvidia Geforce GT 440 (Low Budget)
16GB RAM (if you have the money)
8GB RAM will do fine
Any ASUS ATX Motherboard will do aslong as compatible with intel 2nd gen

Case is extremely huge and probably has questionable build quality. Excessive amount of RAM that will have no benefit in a build like this, same goes for the $500 GTX 680. Overkill 1000w PSU would actually be a bad choice since PSU's are more efficient when they are pressured and are put in the 50-70% load range and this will come no where near that. Huge price point and having no SSD is a slap in the face.

Don't suggest PC hardware / builds if you don't know anything about the subject.

ok listen to this i am just like you and i dont know much about computing but i really suggest in building your own its not hard i have done it. go to r00t_b33rs sticky he is reaaaaaaaaallllllllly helpfull and helped me on my build and i thought it was going to be really hard to build but its reaaaaaallly not its just putting things into sockets
HOPE I HELPED AND THAT YOU TAKE THE CLEVER OPTION OF BUILDING YOUR OWN AS YOU GET BETTER SPECS
