it sounds like your controller is broke, or since the update is incompatible with your game

I highly doubt they could ban an accessory. That is non-sense. It probably because your controllers dont work right. They cant have an update where it turns off a wireless controller. Not possible.

it is tottaly possible every brand xbox 360 wireless controller uses an different signal like the original xbox 360 controller uses the main signal which will never change as the will be swed for making people buy a new 60$ controller to play

as lets say a wireless name branded controller uses a side signal which is allowed to be changed as many times as they want and as it was supported by xbox you can take them in to get a brand new 360 controller or just talk to support on there website as they will most likly give you a appology an pay you of with a 3 month or microsoft points

talk to the company who made it or where you bought it and they will have to refund you no matter what as it dosnt run on xbox so its a falty controller which will get your money back

Try using other modded controllers but i don't think microsoft would just ban/block a controller i thought they would place a ban aswell. Also if you have friends with xbox's try it on theres?

ooh i updated the post yesterday, i found a video saying that there was gonna be an update for the controllers the update should be working this week but i have to download the program that came with the controller! so they will work again!

you mite just need to get on datel website and update it cuz mine works!

Yes Microsoft Has put a block on Datel controllers The latest console update blocks Datel controllers it may have worked on a old console with out the update but when you update your controller will just keep shutting off ive tryed glitching the controller to stay connect and stay powered and when that happens it stays on and connect but the only button that works is the guide button reason why they patched them because datel electronics came out with a memory unit just like Microsoft's but with alot more memory then microsoft sued for copyright then datel came out with other products that microsoft blocked like they did to the datel max memory cards then datel came out with turbo controllers and now microsoft is blocking those to to me it seems like microsoft has a grudge against datel and i think datel counter sued for blocking the products and this been going back and forth since 2009
not sure if that is the whole story but pretty close...Yea im enraged bc i only have 1 controller a datel controller and it just got blocked this morning i just knew this would happen after i read about the update and i just bought a live card guess i wont be able to use it what a waste of money thanks alot microsoft u made me waste 80 dollars that now i cant use i see y people get ps3 less hacking free live

Did you say PS3 has LESS hacking and free live? Please tell me how PS3 has less hacking than xbox. In the PS3 section they are all posting about aimbots and challenge lobbies and such, and us Xbox users are over here and were lucky to have an XP lobby get released. So less hacking, i think not. But yeh free live.
