It won't do anything to his account, he will still have everything that he has on it at the current time, with a license transfer the only thing that gets copied over is the licenses for whatever you want, which in the end means that you can download whatever item you want that he has downloaded as-long as you choose that license.

what the guy above me said is true, but also bear in mind that gears of war has made their game content unable to be license transferred between xboxs. I myself tried to license transfer content from a friends account to mine. It will be unusable. The content that u transfer will be found in ur memory, however in game it will be inaccessible, and there is noway to use it. I hope this helps
