I was just watching Bewitched and noticed in season 1, episode 35, the owner of the restaurant is Mario and the server is Luigi (making sense Mario is the leader while Luigi is the 'sidekick').
This aired in 1964... long before Nintendo's Mario & Luigi. Is this where the names came from?
