Quick question, I built a PC, but it was a while ago. If I use an i7-2600k and plan to overclock with Corsair H80 or 100, what mobo should I use? Looking to get a cheap Asus or something that will let me overclock easily, and hold up to 16gb RAM, and be SLI capable. Any suggestions? Also, if I am using an EVGA GTX 670 SC edition, what would be a recommended PSU be for this rig? Using 8gb 1600mhz, GTX 670, i7-2600k OC'd, USB's, Fans, all the accessories, etc. Thanks. Appreciated.

Budget & Currency: 600 GBP

Peripherals & Monitor: 2x Screens ( Not too large )

Games: Minecraft, BF3, Skyrim

Software: Win7

Aesthetics: A nice solid case, that's all

Rebates/Promos: Go nuts!

Details: Will also be heavily multi-tasking if that changes anything in the build

When: When you have the time ( I'll buy the parts when you reply )

Budget builds make me happy. This should do everything you want it to, which includes BF3 on high at 1080p around 60 FPS!

I struggled to keep the i5 and 7850 on this budget. I would have preferred to have included a regular ATX motherboard and a Hyper 212+ with an i5-2500K, but that would have stretched it too much. I went with the 3450 over the $200 2500K (with a promo code) because it will be faster at stock clocks, which you are restricted to by the H77 chipset that I had to go with to keep you under budget. If you increased it you would be able to get something like this. Keep in mind that a code (EMCYTZT2241) will get you $20 off the 2500K.

Very solid budget build. I refused to fulfill your AMD CPU wish, see this [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] 4GB ram, SATA 3 for an SSD, and we don't include Windows 7 in builds. The extra ~$100 takes too much away from money that could be spent on other components, you'd be better off pirating it. Unfortunately we can't help you with that on TTG. I did, however, try to make it as cheap as possible.
