TTG_Velocity wrote I guess my request was missed on page 116, I'll just repost here. I am buying the system in 2 days so sorry to repost.

Budget: Under 4k dollars

Moniter: Single Samsung SyncMaster B2430 (Already have one)

Games: Minecraft, BF3, Cod, etc. Would prefer GTX 690, but if there is anything better, I'll take it.

Software: Adobe Products, Visual C#, Visual C++, Autodesk products, etc.

Aesthetics: I don't really care. A little lighting would look nice.

Details: At least a 240 GB SSD. Doesn't need RAID.

Here's what's up. The budget is too high, especially if you're only going to be using a single 1080p monitor. A $2,000 will do everything you listed here perfectly and spending more would be like throwing money at a problem or a cause that does not exist. For less than $4,000, you could easily get three 1080p panels for an Eyefinity or Nvidia Surround setup and have more than enough graphics horsepower to handle that setup with ease. If you want a single monitor, you could get one of the Korean monitors I have a section on in the topic. They're extremely high-quality, high-resolution, and cheap for what they are.

Also, that we missed it is on us, don't be sorry.

Hm. My desk can only fit 2x24in monitors so that is the max I can buy ha. Here's another build request then. You don't have to hit the 4 thousand dollar mark though, that is just there to make sure you don't go above it ha.

Budget: Under 4k dollars

Peripherals and Monitor: 2 high resolution monitors, above 1080p. A claw gaming mouse, a new keyboard. I am an indie game developer and spend a lot of time writing rather than gaming. Although, I still do a lot of gaming, etc. (60-70% typing, 30-40% gaming)

Games: Minecraft, BF3, Cod, etc.

Software: Adobe Products, Visual C#, Visual C++, Autodesk products, etc.

Aesthetics: I don't really care. A little lighting would look nice.

Details: To sum up what I'd prefer in my build is -> At least 2x240 GB SSD, 2x2 TB HDD, 2 monitors, claw gaming mouse, a keyboard for typing, a mouse pad.

Again, you don't need to hit the 4k dollar mark, as long as my goal is achieved.

Thanks

No. You're wasting our time ( mine specifically ) and you make it clear that you're not serious. It's obvious you did not read the OP nor did you have plans to. I cannot recommend builds 24/7 to people who somehow change their budget from $400 to $800 in a weeks time.

Nice sweet-spot build. The 7870 does BF3 extremely well and you'll get well over 60 FPS if you tone the settings down just a little and/or overclock. The 3570K is a champ and will blow through anything you throw at it.

Slightly under initial budget, yes..but I couldn't put that spare change toward any component that would make a drastic performance difference. I mean, if you wanted a 2TB drive now, I guess you could go for it but it's totally up to you.

The HAFX-M is a mid-tower version of the HAFX with improved features and is black for the most part and has insanely good cable management. It's definitely a solid case and it's priced very well.

You didn't make it very clear if you wanted a monitor or not, so I just left it out. If you wanted a half decent monitor, I'd recommend slightly reconfiguring the build a build and drop the video card down to an AMD 7950 / Nvidia GTX 670 and picking up a glorious 27'' Catleap monitor which is an IPS monitor with insanely high resolutions - if you seen the high end iMac's you'd now what I mean. There is more information regarding this in the OP. If you stick with the configuration I gave you, well, awesome since the GTX 680 is the fastest single GPU card out by Nvidia right now and will handle ANYTHING you throw at it and for many years ahead.

Samsung 830 SSD. Solid, speedy, and reliable SSD. Throw your O/S, most played games, and popular applications and you'll be set. The 1TB Seagate is purely meant to be used as a storage drive for the most part for music/photos/videos/games/whatever.

The best air cooler out on the market ( comes in various colours, though, if you don't get white you're doing it wrong since it's extremely sexy ) next to the Noctua NH-D14 and will easily net you a solid 4.5ghz on the 3570k without the ASRock Extreme4 coming as a problem . It's the best combo you can get at the moment and you will not be let down. I can't explain how good of a job Intel did in regards to SB/IB.

750w XfX PSU which is essentially a rebranded Seasonic unit and is all around a great product. It's a semi modular PSU so it'll end up making a cleaner build since you won't need unused cables and it'll improve air flow. It'll easily handle a very highly overclocked CPU and SLI'd 680's without even putting pressure on it. Extremely good product.

The GTX 680 brings BF3 to its knees.
