So, before I posted a proposed upgrading project that actually turned out to be a complete new build .. So I have a new upgrade project thingy that I would like to hear thoughts on.. Thanks.

Gfx - Radeon HD 6870 1GB GDDR5
cpu - phenom 9650 2.3 ghz quad core
psu - Corsair builder cx600
ram - 8gb ddr2
mobo - MSI MS-7548

From what I understand after reading a bunch of crap is that this build would be able to run any current game at medium to high settings.. thoughts?

you dont need a 2gb card , only if you will be playing at resolutions higher then 1080p

also you can just get the 6850 and OC it , and it performs like a 6870

You should post the prices with links, it will help out a bit getting more info from others.
