For $1000, you're getting a crappy laptop because it's too big, too heavy, too thick, too hot, and too power-hungry. You're also getting a gaming machine that's insanely overpriced with shoddy hardware.

Don't get a gaming laptop.

Never, under any circumstances, should you buy an Alienware computer. They're the worst kind of the worst kind of computers.

They are? I`m sorry I didn`t know.. I always thought they were pretty good. In that case what are good gaming computers without building one for your self?

Not gaming laptops, for the reasons I detailed in my first post.

Ideally you'd build a tower yourself, which is far easier than you'd think. You get someone on here that knows what they're talking about (Generation, Frostbite, myself) to make a list of parts for your budget and needs, and you order them. You put them together and it can be done in an hour. Again, it may seem daunting, but I taught a bunch of kids to do it in a couple of hours last summer.

You could always order one from NCIX, which charges a $50 fee for building it in advance. Not a bad deal at all!

I`m not scared to build one as how would it be hard? lmao.. But if I have any future questions about computers would you mind if I PM`d you?
