To data transfer you need an ethernet cable, plug one end into the 4.10 (of w/e the newest firmware is) then the other end into the 3.55 Jailbreak, you then go to settings and you'll see data transfer you can't miss it.

As for patches you'll either need to use a USB to transfer them over or use blackb0x and use filezilla (would recommend this way, saves a lot of time!)

The guy that just put crap like go to data transfer obviously doesnt know sh*t about it because he never mentioned how to put the patch on and everything.

1. Find the patch_mp.ff that you want to host 1.11, 1.12, or 1.13.
1.11 = Mod Menu(bypassed) 1.12 = I havnt gotten to know that one yet 1.13 = its a tiny menu for nonbypass infections to host.
2. Turn off both ps3's and unplug both from wall or unplug cord from ps3s so no light is on ps3.
3. Plug your ethernet cord in after you do step 2.(you can leave them hooked up forever so you dont have to keep unplugging the ps3s)
4. Plug in ps3s and turn both of them on.
5. Download the 1.13 & 1.11 .pkg file(these are for BLUS30377 if you are different then search google for the BLUS your on)(It says on your MW2 disc)PKG Files--> [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
6. Put one of the .pkg files on the USB
7. Rename the patch you want to host on bypass to patch_mp
8. Put the patch on USB now
9. Go to the icon somewhere in the bottom right of your computer and Safely remove the USB or it could damage the files.
10. Plug in USB to 3.55 PS3
11. Go to Package Manager
12. Go to Install Package Files
13. Go to Standard Package Location and download the pkg file
14. Go to Comgeneies Awesome File Manager
15. On left side go to hdd00 then game(lowercase one) then go to BLUS30377 then go to USDIR then if you used 1.13 pkg file then delete the default_mp.self if you used the 1.11 pkg file then it should already be gone. KEEP default.self
16. Hover over patch_mp.ff on left
17. Press right on d-pad to go to the right side
18. Go to dev_usb006 or whatever number your USB is
19. Scroll down to the patch_mp.ff that you had on your USB and press O(Circle) then press start and it overwrites it.
20. Exit Comgenies Awesome File Manager
21. Go to Settings
22. Go to System Settings
23. Scroll down to Data Transfer Utility
24. Press OK
25. On the 3.55 one still go to the first one and press X
26. Press NO to both of them
27. Then before you press OK
28. Go to your 4.11(Or newest firmware)
29. Go to Settings
30. Go to System Settings
31. Go to Data Transfer Utility
32. On 4.11 HOVER over the second option
33. Press OK on 4.11 and 3.55 one within 30 seconds difference for safer data transfer
34. Make sure to be on your 4.11 while data transfering
35. When it asks to format say YES to both of them
36. When it gets done you go and recover your Account back and go play online with friends.
Note: Since you deleted the default_mp.self you do NOT have to bypass but people have to bypass to get in to your lobby.
Deleting the default_mp.self mainly bypasses the 1.13 update for you.
