Yes and no the the guy above me.
You need a jb if you plan to change your patch every day. BUT you can have a data transfing service where you send your ps3 to (my house) and i hook it up to my jb and data transfer all my files to your ps3(phat or slim both work) it deletes everyhting so make sur eyou know your password and email so you can recover your account after i send it back to your house.
If you want it just pm me i can show proof of my jb and of my data transfering and im pretty sure i can get the 2 other ppl to vouch for me
