This Is Probably The Wrong Forum. But I Got My HD PVR Today. Im Useing The Alt Method (AV Cables In Front Of PVR) And I Record. I Watch It. Its Like (good,good,lagy,laggy,good,good,laggy,laggy,good)And So On... Any Suggestions? Will Rep

This may be due to your computer not having the correct specs to run th PvR

It seems to be dropping frames.

Your computer may not be good enough to use the software, try recording at a lower bitrate, or even a different codec, and see if that changes anything.

Note: when playing back video recordings made with the HD PVR, a fast CPU and at least 256MB of graphics memory are needed.
Processor Requirements (minimum): Dual core CPU 2.0GHz or faster
Windows 7 (32 and 64-bit), Windows Vista or Windows XP service pack 2 (32-bit).
Graphics with 256MB memory (or greater)

This is what is required!!!!!! To give best performance.

i probably sound like a utter noob but how would i do that. i know the bitrate. but not codec

Have you tried rendering the video to see of it solves the problem?

it did work on my skyrim test :/ but is sorta lowered the quality. but then again i didnt render at full HD

Have you tried rendering the video to see of it solves the problem?
