So with DiabloIII coming out within 3 weeks, I decided to buy a computer that can actually run it(my old computer is an emachines t5016, hardly acceptable). Looking online, I found this computer:

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Specs

Processor: AMD FX-6100
Processor Speed: 3.3 GHz
Processor Cores: 6
RAM: 8 GB DDR3-1333
Hard Drive Capacity: 1 TB
Hard Drive Speed: 7200 RPM
Optical Drive: DVD-RW
Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 6770
Pre-loaded Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit

Networking

Ethernet Port: Yes - 10/100

Computing Features

Available AGP Slots: No
Available Hard Drive Bays: No
Available Memory Slots: No
Available Optical Bays: No
Available PCI Slots: No
Available PCI-E Slots: No
Energy Star Qualified: Information Not Available
Power Supply: 600 W
Processor Cache: No
Removable Storage: No
System Bus: Not Applicable

I am a complete noob at computers and technology and this is the very first time I even though of researching before buying. So I just have a couple questions:

Would these specs run DiabloIII on medium or high performance?
Is the processor fine(what does 6 cores mean, is the speed good)?
Is the hard-drive okay?
Is that optical drive standard for all computers?
If I need to in the future, will I be able to upgrade the RAM, processor and video card?
What does the 10/100 for the ethernet port mean?
There are a lot of "No"s under Computing Features, could someone explain what this means?

I realize this is a huge post and this is all probably basic stuff, but I have tried to google everything before making this post, I wouldn't have done so without googling first. Please reply! I'm extremely desperate for help/advice.

Thanks for your time.

dont get a top end pc if you dont understand the basics of computing in my opinion. Or at least do some research into computer hardware!

Thanks for the advice guys, I still am researching computers, and the computer iteself is about 700 CAD. Is this a good buy?

Also, will I be able to upgrade the RAM, and I still don't know what the 10/100 for the ethernet means, as well as all of the "No"s under computing features.

depending on the how much ram the motherboard supports will depend if you can install more ram, is 700 cad canadian dollars then or what currency is it please then i can say if its a good buy or not also im unsure about the 10/100 ethernet option but quick research just says it is a type of ethernet that allows you to mix newer ethernet cables together etc, its not particularly important! also all the no's under features is usually the company being lazy to be perfectly, lots of big electrical companies here in the UK just leave stuff like that blank and only state hardware specs e.g processor, HDD, ram etc!

The no's under computing features are bad if you plan on upgrading in the future. The CPU is pretty Good IMO, and the graphics card is too. You should be fine on Diablo, but I've never played it. 10/100 is the speed of the ethernet. It can do 10 or 100 Mbps. Which is pretty standard, and most people's internet doesn't even go that fast anyway.
It depends on the price you get it for. But if you don't want to build your own computer, this is a good buy. (Depeding on price)

Yes, CAD is Canadian dollars. So I'm assuming that it is a good deal then? The only reason I'm buying a pre-built computer is because I am so inexperienced. But just to clarify on upgrading in the future, how will the motherboard affect me(I can't even find it on the BB site) and is the processor and graphics card upgradable or are they integrated into the motherboard?

Yeah that is a good deal then! quite a bargain. and yes you can upgrade the graphics card it'll just be in a slot on your motherboard, and same goes for ram too. and the processor is similar it will be upgradable but you will have to remove the heat sink and stuff and make sure its all compatible but it should be upgradable and you'll be able to learn how as your knowledge grows. if you need to find out details about your pc motherboard i'd suggest looking at your BIOS, soon as your pc boots up then hit F8(it varies by manufacturer)
