Just thought I'd make a thread to clear something up for everyone posting these fake beta pics.

The internal betas that would be taking place right now RARELY get leaked and when they do it is very private and usually has little to no user interface at all.
Bellow is just a list of items that can help seperate a fake from a real image.

UI- The user interface for betas/builds comes last in development. A fully working UI usually doesn't come into play until the last few weeks of development. Any image displaying a menu system is most likely fake.

Images- Developers will NEVER use pics from a previous game. Most of the time in very early builds key images will not of been rendered out and there will be a place holder instead.

Build/Version- On allot of these fake beta pics you will see a build version like v.2.2 or version 4 or something resembling that. Beta builds are not a simple number build. They are a long number used to identify different stages of development. Along with that the first digit will always be zero. EX: 0.1435 Anything beyond 1 is considered a completed build indicating it is in the FINAL stage of development.

ESRB/Rating- The ESRB will not issue a formal rating for a game until it has been fully compiled into a working retail copy. Any beta that displays a ESRB or PAL rating is a guaranteed fake.

Logos- Copyright and ownership information can not be attached to a product w/o explicit written from the owner for a specific title. Meaning a completed beta build or retail build will nto display any logo other then possibly a Activision publishing logo due to the fact that it needs to be reviewed by the third-party first.

Disk Images- Developers don't use disks to test any type of game via disk. In order for a (retail) console to read from a disk any and all code needs to be put in a iso container and burned to a disk. As games get updated and debugged constantly it becomes strenuous to continue to burn disk for every build. The only time you will see a disk is after the game has gone gold. ( usually 2-3 weeks before release)
There are many other factors that can be used to recognize a fake and as I think of more I'll update this post but thats about it for now
