Why AMD? Why not just run a 8-core i7 in there, i think both the i5 and the i7 have Intel turboboost technology.

When u say other games what do you mean?

Minecraft needs more ram so look for that when buying but ram is cheap.

If you plan on playing games like tf2 or Garry's mod (my favorite) then your not
Going to need anything really that special.

But if your going to play like battlefield 3 or other graphically intense games then you may be looking more on the pricier end so keep that in mind.

AMD in this point in time is realllllllly bad for what you're paying and gets crushed by Intel in every single benchmark. Intel has no competitors and is clearly dominant. Just because AMD has their fancy 8 core CPU's, it does not mean they are better than a truly quad core 2500k, especially in games.

I hope your budget is $850(+) if you want to play BF3 @ 1080p and not max out vRAM instantly.

Both of these build will play BF3 at medium to high settings with 50+ frames, Off topic You dont need an intel cpu to play games, with intel you might get a few more frames.

INTEL:Heavy video editing, Performance
AMD:Price with good performance!
