How To Identify Your Xbox 360 DVD Drive
I Made This Post Mostly Because People Want To Flash Thier Drive, Mod Their Xbox, Or Fix A Broken DVD Drive/Xbox.
To Identify Your DVD Drives You Do Not Need To Open Your Xbox.
These Are Quick And Easy Ways To Find Your DVD Drives (PHATs and SLIMs)

As you all might know, there are four types of Xbox 360 DVD Drives.
-Samsung
-Hitachi
-BenQ
-LiteOn
To Identify Them, All you need to do is take off the face plate on your Xbox.
This Does Not Void The Warranty!
This Is How To Easily Differentiate The DVD Drives Without Opening The Xbox:

On Slims, There Can Be 3 Different DVD Drives
-LiteOn 9504
-LiteOn 0225
-Hitachi 0500
How To Differentiate Hitachi From LiteOn:

If You Have A LiteOn This Is To See What Version You Have:
-If Your Xbox 360 console Slim contains a MFR date BEFORE 2010-09-01(September 2010) you have a LiteOn 9504 DVD Drive
-If Your Xbox 360 console Slim contains a MFR date AFTER 2010-09-01(September 2010) you have a LiteOn 0225 DVD Drive
Where/How To Check MFR Date:

-LiteOn 9504
-LiteOn 0225
-Hitachi 0500
