I've use Fraps and everything but whenever I watch the footage I recorded it's always laggy and I know it's not my computer. Please recommend any fixes or other programs.

The reason it's laggy after recording is because Fraps doesn't compress the video when recording (this gives best quality). You can either convert the file to .avi or .mp4, or chuck the footage into a video editing program and render it, which will compress the video and it'll run smooth.
