YOU AWH MINTED!
You could do with a higher HDD perhaps, excluding the 2TB storage.
Looks really neat, would love to had a set-up like that

Pretty nice. I'd put the Operating System on the SSD, and internet Cache. You went a little overboard on the LED's tho . I would change the Phenom to a i5 2500k when you have the money, and ofcourse you will also need to change the Motherboard. I would also get 8GB of RAM if you are playing games like BF3 on two screens. Very nice set up overall.

Everything looks great until you get to the cable management of the PC, why buy such a nice case, and then just ram everything in and have cables going everywhere?

Also you used way too many LEDs.

Why did you use crucial ram? Seems a bit odd to use over some sticks of Corsair Vengeance or some G.Skill RipJaw.

I do love your desk and speakers though.

Thank you, I put a lot of time, money, and care into my entire set up. I have upgraded it piece by piece over the past 2 years. Some of the most recent additions to it would be the Subwoofer, my PS3 and a 2nd monitor. The majority of the money I have made over the past two summers has been put into this, it has left me little money for other things that I enjoy but I feel it was more then worth it.

I don't really need a larder hard-drive, I only keep games installed on it. My external is just now reaching about half full and I have on it 6300 songs all .flac files. A long with a lot of blurays. But thanks for the compliment I spent a lot of time adding to it over the past couple years and finding the best way to place everything that I have on the desk. I use to have a desk half this size it was really tough.

I do have the operating system on the SSD, but I have had problems with it, stating that it is an invalid copy of windows, and I have yet to find the time to reinstall the OS to figure it out. I would have liked to build an Intel set up but I never planned on overclocking with this build. And at this point to go to Intel I would be pretty much redoing the entire build, so I decided to wait until I build my next PC. (Which will be some time from now because next on my list of upgrades for this set up is an audio interface for my speakers which a good one will run me at least $250).

As far as the LEDs go, there really aren't that many LEDs, the RAM I thought was so cool when I first got into building PCs and I have just kept the same sticks. Then I added a a strip of leds to add a green hue. I also have a blue cathode in there which is current off at the moment because it is a pain at times. My computer really needs a nice clean up that I haven't had the time to do yet.

I did do some cable management. My entire case needs a clean up. I just haven't had the time. There are a lot of useless case addons that I don't use that have cables sitting around in there. But The cable management could have been a lot worse, and once I remove some of the stuff that is no longer used, the cable management will be a lot better.

The LEDs is actually only one strip, and I went with the Crucial RAM because of the rapid LED lights in them. Back when my case was completely clear (about 2 years ago). I didn't see the sense in spending money on more RAM when the RAM that I have works fine.

The speakers are my pride and joy, haha. I had a very simple $50 2.1 system. Then a friend convinced me to spend $200 on the two BX5a's and it was the best choice I ever made. Then I felt there wasn't enough bass, and did some research into getting a sub. I ended up doing a job and being compensated with the SBX10 sub, at the time it was around $400. Seems a bit expensive for a 2.1 system $600. Now I just need a audio interface to cut down on the interference that my speakers pick up from electronics in the room.

I have upgraded my desk 2 times now.

Very first setup (old case and "desk")

Thank you, I actually cleaned off my desk before taking the pictures to put on here.

I pretty much live by this. It doesn't feel like my desk if I don't have it cluttered with some books that I am currently reading or notebooks and things I am working on. (Which is why I wanted such a big desk, most people say it is unecessary to have a desk like I do, but It is actually great for me.

I may let my desk get to the point that it usually is and then upload a picture so you can see the comparison. Anyone have any suggestions on what I should do next with my setup, besides hardware upgrades on the PC. There is a possibility I may build an Intel PC over this summer and give my current PC to my younger brother.
