Xbox Steps Part 1

Note: Existing Worlds Create Back-Ups Just Incase The Mod Goes Wrong!

1. Choose a World To Modify Either A Dig Deep Or Creative Map!

2. Once You Have Choose A World You Would Like To Mod Load It Up Or Start The Game.

3. Buy a Chest Empty Your Inventory In To The Chest! Make Sure You Empty Everything Apart From The Coins.

4. Go To The Tool Shop And Buy Some Wooden Hatchets. ( You Can Use Anything Just Remember What It Is! Wooden Hatchets Are The Easiest.

5.Now You Must Decide What You Want From The Items List. If You Want 5 Items From The Items List You Must Put 5 Wooden Hatchets In Your Inventory! (Does Not Matter Where In Your Inventory).

6.Now Move The Remaining Coins In to The Chest. Now Save Your World!

7. At The Total Miner Main Menu Click Play Local Then Find The World Which You Just Made. Then Rename It To Whatever you Want Just Remember! I Would Rename My World: (Mod Me) Because It Is Simple To Find!

8. Ensure The World Is Created On A Usb Stick! Or If You Have a Transfer Cable Ensure You Save The World To Your Hard Drive!


Computer Steps

1. Plug Your Usb Stick In Or Connect Your Hard Drive Via (Transfer Cable).

2. Do Not Format Your Usb if Prompted And Do Not Edit Files Of Usb Or Hard Drive With Any Programs! You Must Use Horizon.

3. Now Open Horizon, And Open The Device! (It Should Load Automatically In The Right Hand Corner Of Your Screen). If This Does Not Happen Close The Program And Re-open It! (Try Right Clicking On The Program And Running As An Administrator!).

4. Once Open Click Games Then Indie Games And Then Total Miner Forge Data. Once You Have Clicked On That Click The Contents Tab And Then Find Your World. (The One We Renamed Earlier)

5. Right Click On Your World Then Extract It To The Desktop.

6. Open HxD, Once Opened Click File Then Open And Click Your World. You Should Now Have a Big Or Small List Of Codes On Your Screen! (Big = Dig Deep) (Small = Creative) Could Be Either Depending On World Size.

7. Now Finding The Wooden Hatchets. Click Search Find Then Change "Datatype" To Hex Value's. Also Change The Search Direction To All.

8. Look At The Item Id's Find The Item You Have In Your Inventory And See The Code For The Item. In Our Case Wooden Hatchets Which The Code Is 0701. Now Search That Code!

9. We Should Now Have The Code Highlighted (Automatically). Don't Worry About The Spaces When Searching Just Type It In WIthout The Spaces (Ex. 0701010000)It Should Say: 07 01 01 00 00. The 01 00 00 Is The Amount Of The Item! We Should Find The Code For The Item We Want To Replace Say A Sledge Hammer Which The Code For That Is: 2E01. Now Type Over The Code 0701. Ensure It Is Highlighted Otherwise This Could Ruin Your Data.

10. Now Save That Once You Have Changed The Code! OK So We Dont Just Want One Sledge Hammer Do We? So Now We Will Find The Highest Amount We Can Have Which is 7,000,000 Now We Dont Just Type This In We Have To Convert It To Hex! So I Will Save You Some Time And Provide The Code: 6ACFC0. Highlight The 01 00 00 And Type This Code Over It!

11. Now We Have 7 Billion Sledge Hammers! But We Want More? Just Repeat The Process For The Amount Of Stuff You Want We Had 5 Wooden Hatchets So We Will Replace 5 Wooden Hatchets Just Search The Code 0701 Again And Repeat The Process But With a Different Item.

12. So If You Want To Mod The Health As Well, Your Value Should Now Say 07 01 6A CF C0 00. Then The Next Two Bytes (A Byte Is Two Numbers With A Space Like 00 )Should Be FF FE
So It Should Look Like 07 01 6A CF C0 00 FF FE. Now Your Weapon Or Tool Has Basically Unlimited Health, And Then Save.

13. Now We Have 7 Billion Sledge Hammers! But We Want More? Just Repeat The Process For The Amount Of Stuff You Want We Had 5 Wooden Hatchets So We Will Replace 5 Wooden Hatchets Just Search The Code 0701 Again And Repeat The Process But With a Different Item.

14. Once You Have Modded Your Inventory And Saved The File You Should Have A .dat File And A .dat.bak File Now Delete The .dat.bak file We DO Not Need This! Now Open Horizon And Right Click On Your World Again. Then Choose Option Replace And Replace It With The .dat File We Just Modded. Then Save Rehash and Design To Device!

15. Close Horizon Remove Your Device From Your Computer!

Xbox Steps Part 2

1. Insert Your Device (Usb Or Hard Drive) Into Your Xbox.

2. Start Playing Total Miner Forge.

3. Select The Device Which We Just Used To Mod The Save e.g USB Stick

4. Play Local First To See If Your World Has Been Modded.

5. Enjoy The Mod And Remember If You Do This For Friends Make Sure You Put The Modded Items In a Chest Before Sharing The World! As The Items Would Stay In Your Inventory.

Steps

1. Plant Boy Spawner's Where You Would Like Your Characters To Be E.G Zeus In Unlockable's Museum. Make Sure Its a Boy On The Spawner! And Make Him Say Something You Will Remember Like: cupcake

2. Save Your World, Onto Your Device Either a Usb Or Hard Drive.

3. Extract Your World Using Horizon (Dont Know How Read The Item Id's Change Tutorial Above!) Open The World In HxD. Then Click Search Change The Datatype To Text String and The Search Direction To All! Now Type In The World You Put On The Spawner Like I Said: Cupcake.

4. When It Has Found The Text It Should Be Highlighted. Now Because Its A Boy Spawner We Will Look Above Where The Text Is For The Code 1D Which Is The Boy Code. This Should Be In The Codes Not in The Text Part More To The Left Side Of Your Screen!

5. Once You Have Found 1D Replace It With The Code You Want To Change The Character With E.G Zeus Which The Code For Him Is 3C! (See The Character Id's List)

6. Save The File. Delete The .dat.bak File And Keep The .dat File Now replace That Over Your World Using Horizon (See On Item Id's Changing Tutorial). Save Rehash And Design.

7. Load Up Your Game Enjoy Zeus!

How to change the gamemode of your map

So all there is to this is when you are hex in hex workshop in the beginning for example if you are in dig deep you should see something along the lines of a bunch of 0's then a 1
or something like 00000100. After that there should be some more hex inbetween then it should repeat itself 2 more times. On the third repeat change the hex 01 to desired gamemode hex value

Changing the author of the map

So on the right side of the screen where it shows all the text, it should show the authors name. You will need to have just as many characters (yes counting spaces) in your gamertag as the original author. After that just highlight their name and change it to your gamertag. (make sure the correct letters are capitalized if any)
