Actually watched it last week. Same makers as Steins;Gate (pretty sure) but it'll never come close. The crazy science was all there and almost sounded believeable (like Steins;Gate) but it was like... a harem kinda. I mean for 12 eps you may as well, but I walked out giving it a high 6 low 7.
Alright i think i will check in to it thanks ^_^ and also i need to really watch Steins;Gate i think i'm the only out of our group that hasn't watched it lol

Nah you're not the only one. I tried it like right after it aired and couldn't get into it. (Mind this was when I was just getting into anime). Its still in my backlog of anime to watch. Has been for a long time now. I'll get to it when I get to it lol.

I watched it when I was first getting into anime too. I didn't really understand the humor and stuff of the first episodes at first but looking back it was hilarious. Once you hit the halfway point with Steins;Gate though, boy does it go nuts and you'll have to marathon it.

I finished up on Kyoukai no Kanata earlier today, i have to say that i really enjoyed it throughout. Despite some inconsistencies throughout the show the characters felt fleshed out, the plot was interesting and it actually ended really well. As for a rating i gave it an 8/10

It ended? Now I can finally watch it. All the episodes have just been sitting in a folder on my pc. I'll have to grab the last one. Good to know its actually good. Was looking forward to watching it anyways.

Well, since I won't be around the next couple days (between family and a 32 man Project M tournament I'm having at my house today), I figured I'd type this out now.

So well, it's that time of year again: my beloved Kwanzaa, or well, Christmas and stuff. (and whatever NASA celebrates besides Lolimas). This time frame generally sinks me into depression, or well it used to - it's not the weather, in fact I love the cold and rain, just have a broken family relationship is all (most of you know the details).

However, things have picked up from previous years. About 17 months ago, I started watching anime. I was a leech on this site for 2 years prior, so figured why not post here? I remember my first post, it was saying how my favorite 3 anime were Gurren Lagann, Clannad, and Death Note (wow the shit taste amiright). From there, just lurked around to see what to watch from you guys, well that is the elders of the thread like Linx, Acty, and Kat.

Something struck me with anime, I think it was Clannad that in fact broke me, since it was about, well, family, something I saw as a curse. How could anything about family be so moving? I thought. Who knows, but it hit home. Ever since then, I realized that aside of a few video games (heh heh though they were JRPGs), American TV and such never really filled me with emotion. If someone dies on CSI, do I care? No, I really don't. In anime, generally you do, and I find that incredible.

Anyways, enough about anime. It's all about you guys. Would I have fallen into anime as much if I didn't meet all of you? Probably not. It didn't stop at the initial anime guidance, the day we formed that Skype call is probably one of the most significant days of my life - we all got a long so fast, and were in calls giggling about NASA before we knew it. You guys were with me when I chased girls, got broken up with, almost got disowned, and god knows what else throughout the past year and a half. Hell, we even got to see wowmanshark get in trouble for tweeting them sweet booty cheeks.

I do consider you guys my brothers, I really do. There's nothing I'd rather do than chill all day at the computer or texting those of you in the US. Whether it's talking to Acty about girls and life, Kat about going to college together, Matt about his life of crime, Dean about PC games, Brett about Brett things, or even NASA has opened up to me once or twice. This isn't terribly relevant to the thread topic, but - I love you guys. It's not often that you can truly say those words to people you've never met face to face, but I safely can. I love you guys, and one day, just one day, we'll have that IRL hangout.

Talk to you guys soon-

Brad

Great post, man! It's been awesome talking with you guys in the Skype chat. Sorry I'm not too active. I just check every once in a while.
Also, if you want to get my attention in the chat, you just need to say my name and I get a notification.

Love to brad xoxoxo

Matt about his life of crime

Grats on sex offender matt

It's been a pleasure knowing you guys over the past year and a half, seriously. Ever since we have started the Skype chat my days have been that little bit brighter due to everyone. If it wasn't for everybody here i doubt i would be on TheTechGame any more or watching anime in general. Each of you guys motivate me to continue posting and watching different shows every day and i thank you all greatly for it. Be it Brad bragging about being the only one here who has made contact with a girl, Activez- raging about me destroying his sultan on GTAV, Dean's conversationalism, Satori's life of crime and SAO rewatches or NASA being well.. NASA i am privileged to have you guys as friends and wouldn't trade in the last few years for the world.

I hope to continue our good times well into the future and we really need to get together and call a little more. Maybe play a few games and watch some anime when we have time, we haven't been doing that recently and i think it would be a great thing to do over the holiday season (Oh.. a holiday season with the Jewish Guy, great right?). I see you guys as good friends at this point, to the level of some of my friends in real life. Once again, thanks for everything and may all of you continue being awesome.

While I'm at it do you guys remember Hei? by god that was hilarious.

want to know what is even more funny

I just finished Accel World. It was a pretty good anime if you like Sword Art Online.

I'm watching Accel world atm. I would enjoy it more if the main protagonist wasn't a small chubby kid who's the size of most people legs his age it's really off putting, I really wouldn't mind if he was just chubby but it is hard to take him seriously with the way he looks. (No offence to small chubby people)
