Captain_America wrote Colours react to light...
when there is no light there is no reaction

Our minds are told what each color is supposed to look like by other humans, and that is what we believe each color is!

Light makes objects brighter. we are fed waves and waves of color that we believe are real,
we build color and what each of them stand for.

when in the dark the object has nothing to help project the waves of color... so it is not seen by anyone.
but someday we will evolve and be able to see clearly while it is "Dark", dark would never be used because it never happens

Well we have been brought up to know that that's red, that's blue, that's purple etc...
For all we know, they could been called something completely different but we don't know. We've only been brought up to know what color's are which.

But chances are that we know all the color's correctly.

because with the absence of light everything appears dark but as wwith light you grasp the sight sense and when light reflects off of the object certain parts of our eyes trigger causing you to see color hense color blind or blindness. Thats Whats Up.

You see colors because the light reflects the colors off and you see it. So if it was dark there would be no light to cause a reflection.
Oh god i sound like a friggen crack head.

lol i think you might be high.

and i didnt understand ur question fully,

but heres my response:

your eyes have cone receptors, and when white light reflects off of something, the wave length changes, when it changes, it will become any color in the light spectrum.

therefor, its all about how a wavelength reflects off of an objects surface which gives an item its color.

NO thats not right.
your not told to think what each color is? wtf?

doesnt matter what u call a color, no one says: "hey that color is called brown and u see it as a darker color than white". no one tells u what a color is like.
your reasoning also fails to explain color blind problems.

i posted the correct answer in previous comment.
just wanted to point out that is clearly wrong.
