How to Bypass Youtube's Age Filter!


Before I get started, I am making a step-by-step tutorial of how to bypass the age filter on youtube. I have confirmed that it works with an underage account, and it probably will work if you don't have one, but I am not 100% sure.

Some people who don't have an account with google might say "oh, just change the age a hurr durr and you're done", but google only gives you one chance to get your age correct at sign-up. If you already have an account and you don't want to make a new one so you can watch the 18+ videos, then this tutorial is perfect for you!



Requirements:

1) Notepad or Wordpad
2) A minimal understanding of HTML code
3) Know how to get to youtube's embed link (just click share under the video, then embed)




Some of you may already know what I am getting at. The tutorial is to create a .html file in Notepad and put the embed link of the video into the document and watch the video remotely.

This will obviously not work however if the account that posted the video has blocked embedding.



Steps:
(The spoilers will contain the pictures for this tutorial)

1) Open Notepad, and immediately save the doc as a .html (I will be saving mine as yt.html)

2) Insert this basic code into the document. You can change replace what is in-between the title tags.

</body>
</html>


3) Replace the ??? with the EVERYTHING AFTER the %3D if the url looks like the image below. You should only be copying 11 characters.

4) Save the Document again. Then, double-click to open it and it should open in your web browser.

^This is proof it works and if you don't believe me, try it out!


Also, for reference, this was the original url of the video I used: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
The url will change to say verifyage blah blah blah.

Hey NASA, you could've read my post because I said this is if you have a google account that you regularly use and do not want to make a new one.

Somebody may have accidentally put the wrong age and google only gives you one chance to input the correct age.

Nice post, thanked and repped. Keep up the good work, I would use this but i do not need to bypass the age filter But still useful for others who can't.

lol i made a gmail account with the birth date of 1872 is their any way of changing it

I don't think it really matters if the account is that old. You have one chance to put your age at registration; you cannot go back and change it.

I made this tutorial specifically for those who can't have a youtube account or those who are under 18 or for those who put the wrong age accidentally and do not want to make a new account.
