I know there has been A LOT of discussion on the issue and I would just like to post my opinions and facts to further help to help the community to finding the answer to getting JTAG's back online.

NOTE: This is an advance post meant for those who are attempting to bring JTAG's back online, not for any noobs that are trying to host MW2 lobby's or any other kind of that stupid sh*t. So please don't leach and really take your time to read all of the post before saying "nope won't work dumb idea". And I am in no way saying that I know the legitimate way to bring jtags back online. I'm just trying to help others by giving them pointers and showing what is confirmed and debunked.

Regarding Theory's of Using XDK's to Host on Xbox Live:

I feel this should be added so that people do not purchase these so they can host online.

EzMoneY has said this IS NOT CORRECT and it WILL NOT WORK.

Here is a link to his announcement about the matter,

Forums/viewtopic/t=884132.html

And for everyone to lazy, here is it in quoted form,

EzMoneY wrote As pretty much all of you know, it was said that Eaton/XboxElement are hosting by using a Devkit to ISO on retail method

This is not true and was all just a big troll to make you all think you could figure out what to do when really your just wasting your time.

The staff, and Multiple members are getting aggravated with the many topics such as "eaton release method" or "i know the online method". You dont know it and wont know it unless you are either Smart enough to figure it out by yourself or it is released to the general public. Which i doubt will happen because then it will easily be patched by microsoft.

If any of you see threads such as the ones i stated above or similar, please PM a staff member or report the post and it will be dealt with. We are not taking this lightly, it is causing WAY to much spam in the forums. And with that being said, you will receive a warning and temporary ban for creating these such topics/arguments

Well that is referring to the so called "Dev Kit ISO to retail" theory. Which yes I agree is not the correct method. However I believe that people are using Dev Kits to host the Online Lobbies. Before you try to dispute that from the above post. Nowhere does it say that they aren't using a Dev Kit to host the lobbies. What it does say is this:
EzMoneY wrote it was said that Eaton/XboxElement are hosting by using a Devkit to ISO on retail method

So no they are not using a Dev Kit to patch an ISO to play on a retail, however they could be using a dev kit to connect to XBL, which I know has been tryed before and says won't connect so we are going to have to work on a way around it.

I also have multiple legitimate sources who have been vouched for by TTG staff who have told me that yes indeed it does require a dev kit (or atleast for there method (as there may be multiple methods)), However I will not release names nor the messages received by them.

Please post your thoughts below.

Reverse the DarkDreamer xex and you will see how they are doing it(to a certain degree). Pay particular attention to the system calls.

I see, do you have Darkdreamer's xex? Was it ever publicly released? I can't seem to remember

The main xex that they use to set everything up was released. You still need the xex they send you after you pass authorization from their server(which you can't get). That xex handles everything.

It doesn't matter if you have the xex. It won't do you any good. I doubt anyone is smart enough to reverse it to the point where they actually understand what is going on.

I can get code to work together, and make a nice mod menu, but beyond that everything just goes right over my head haha. Are you Dwack from 7s, or another intelligent dwack that appeared from nowhere?

Its essentially debunking the idea of an actual JTAGGED console getting the ability for online use. It is done through a Dev Kit, Or atleast to my understanding based on multiple sources.
