Hey guys...small question.

What should I do?

I own a 13" MacBook which was $900. I use it for developing and stuff. I am currently starting to play CoD 4 that I bought on it. Now, I want to switch from console to PC gaming. Because Mac only has CoD 4, I was going to build a PC.

Would it be better to buy something like this: (beast computer) [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Instead of building one? The one I build will NOT be as good as that, because I currently only have around $200 to spend on parts. I don't know what to do. I already have basic parts including casing.

But the 51 looks so beast. Not only that, but I am almost guaranteed a nice, WORKING, gaming machine if I purchase. ONLY issue with Alienware...it is $700, and I already have a $900 MacBook that I cannot get rid of due to developing and stuff...

Thanks.

Build you own computer. It will be MUCH less expensive then any Alienware product, and outperform it. Alienware is overpriced for the parts they use.

Website to buy things: Newegg.com

I am just not 100% sure though. I really want the Alienware because it is so beast, but at the same time I think I could save around $100 to build my own...not sure. But now I think it will be a lot more to build if I want to outrun Alienware...

Or if you REALLY don't want to build your own because you feel you will screw something up, you could do what I did and buy one from Cyberpowerpc.com.

Some people will say they are a rip off, but from my experience, they are a great website, and didn't charge me much more then if I built the computer myself anyway.

They are overpriced...because they get parts wholesale at REALLY cheap prices. Its just weird. I think the Alienware has a nice, sleek look, but I do want to build one. I just don't want to break the bank.

I love how those CyberPower are like $500 for better specs than the $700 Alienware...thanks for the site, I will take a look. I know how to build a computer, I am just skeptical.
