Yeah I have about 4 or 5 of these. They can actually help get you under the map.

Haha, I've seen so many of those chests being sold throughout my time playing Skyrim. Never thought of buying them. Can you store stuff in there?

no...when you drop it, just floats there and then you proceed to pick it up again

If you remember the paint brush glitch in Oblivion then this is the same thing just it's a chest. Lol I think it's amusing.
