Yeah you read that, Microsoft is going to stop the use of Microsoft points at the end of this year. Don't believe me?

Wouldn't be much of a change, other than the fact that you need to have your money linked to a CC/ Bank account.

It'll be like Appstore/Android market.

Only now it'll be Windows something, etc.

It's not really an official news site to be fair. I doubt this is true until I see it confirmed by a member of the xbl team via twitter or another official announcement. Anyone can set up a site and write a news article. There are hundreds, even thousands of people with un-used microsoft points and microsoft can't force people to use them, and I doubt they'd like to refund everyone.

They would just change the microsoft points back to actual money it's simple if you think about it.

I never liked the MS point system... Now instead of buying bulk points you can, pay what it cost and no more...
