How can I record with my HDPvr without my monitor/tv flashing purple?

Whenever I press capture in ArcSoft ShowBiz My Monitor/TV starts flashing purple and sometimes going black for alittle bit.

Delete the progam then re-download it and try it again it should work. PM if u still have a problem.
