I am new to this and I was wondering if someone could tell me the difference between these 2 HD-PRV's is?

They are so same Price...

HD-PVR Gaming Edition- [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

HD-PVR- [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

It looks like the only difference is the gaming edition comes with cables needed to hook it up to the Xbox but why do they cost the same?

Plus rep for a good answer.
Thanks!

So why would I not get that one? Why do they cost the same?

The gaming edition came out not too long ago, its basically an upgraded version but you should get it because the image that is outputed from the pvr is at real time, in other words the old pvr had a slower pass through rate making the image coming out not true as play time. So what happens on the xbox/ps3 is not actually whats happeneing on the tv or monitor. The gaming edition has a new pass through technology which makes the image go through the pvr and out faster so that the image you see on the screen is true real time image. You get it?
