Server back up!
We will be adding a new world soon, vote in the poll to help us decide what type of world! Also, we are trying to make the server more objective based by making a more player-driven economy and jobs. If you have suggestions they are very welcome!
The money has been reset for everyone please dont complain about it, If you are caught boosting your money you will be temp banned for 3 days.
Firstly, you may remember StormCraft from a few months ago. We were once the most popular server on TheTechGame at the time. This time we are going big. Show your support by joining the server and helping us make it great!

StormCraft v4 - The Introduction
The RPG server
Server Status: UP!
StormCraft is a semi-successful server aimed at providing the best experience possible to its players, we do so by combining what we think are the two most exiting aspects, creativity and a role play system or RPG system. There are monsters, so the element of survival remains, but is not as prominent. The 'RPG Creative' idea we at StormCraft have created is a subtle system where you earn money, via several methods and use it to buy materials to make a house, or you can gather the materials yourself! We have made the system subtle to unleash your creative side and allow your imagination to go wild. This allows the most flexibility for all players to enjoy the game together, weather you like survival, RPG, or creative, we hope this will work for you just as it does for us.
The server can guarantee that griefing will not be an issue, yes, griefers will occasionally join, but any affect done unto the server by them will be rolled back. We use a variety of plugins such as LogBlock, World Guard, NoCheat, OwnBlocks and Mob Disguise to make sure griefers will just turn away upon joining. If not they are simply wasting their time. If you see any griefing or players acting suspiciously message any staff member by doing the command /msg username(Eg. Lotso7s) message(Eg.TooRanDoMx is a griefer). They will be checked, follow, punished and rolled back if we feel there is a need to do so.
How To Play The Server
There are a few areas of the server which may seem complicated at first, but trust me they make a huge difference.
The Shop
For the shop we use a plugin called ChestShop. The shop is located out of the spawn on the left as you walk through the arches. Simple right or left click the sign to buy or sell items. You start with $100 of currency and soon will be paid to do jobs. Do /warp shop to get to the shop with ease.

The Portals
The portals are opposite the shop and hold your gate to every town and city on the server, simply enter and... poof! Do /warp portals to get to the portal room easily.
Towny and towns
We use a plugin called Towny to enhance the RPG aspect of the server. This means the server is consisted of towns, nations and the wilderness. Creating and managing a town is costly and difficult, unless you have previous experience I suggest you join a town. To join a town get in contact with the town mayor and ask him/her if you can join. For a list of town do /town list then for more precise info on the town do /town [townname]. There will be a regular daily tax so be sure you have enough money to remain! There are no mobs or pvp in towns so you are safe. Each town can join a nation although this is up to the mayor to decide.

Jobs
We will soon have a realistic jobs system with several different trades. Each type of trade will have a head. For example say I was the head woodcutter I would have the permissions to fire and employ whoever I like. I will then assign tasks such as an amount of wood to collect per day. You will be auto payed for the wood you cut but then will take the log to your trade's storage area and put it in the chests. The head will then sell on all the materials and distribute the money accordingly, this means he will buy tools and food with it for his workers. After that distributing the money however he likes. Each month you can choose whether you want to have a vote on a new head if you feel the current one is unfair. Do /jobs browse for a list of jobs then check here for the head of that job

Donations
We appreciate donations as running a server is very expensive and time consuming, you do not have to donate but it will earn you extra privileges.
There are 3 ranks of donators:
VIP - $5
RPG:
- Flying
- $5000 in game
- Access to /kit diamond
- A single mob disguise
Elite - $15
RPG:
- Flying
- $15000 in game
- Item spawning
- All /kit commands
- Ability to create shops
- 2 mob disguises
Super Contributor - $25
RPG:
- Flying
- $25000 in game
- Item spawning
- All /kit commands
- Ability to create shops
- 4 mob disguises
The exact commands are to be decided soon but I guarantee we are more than generous! There are more than listed above. I will compile an exact list later.
The Staff
We have a dedicated team of staff that you all will get to know very quickly. We will help even the newest of players with any problems, simple or difficult.
All my staff have been running server since Beta and know what you want and need from a server. We do not tolerate trouble makers or griefing. Any griefers will be instantly rolled back (We can rollback tree griefing)and IP banned.
