Not 100% sure how to fix it, but all I know is if you take the Xbox HDMI cable out of it while its turned on it stop loading and it doesn't do anything till you put it back in. I use VGA for my pc and HDMI for my Xbox and it works fine, so I'm assuming it's your TV stopping the connection to the HDMI when you change the source.

It may be that the cables around the back of your Xbox or tv are in the wrong place or not plugged in.

There may be a HDMI cable in the wrong slot or the coloured wires are not in.

Look at the back of your T.V and check the cables and wires, or find the HDMI Cable
