I got around $150 in BestBuy and already spent $30, and now I was going to go pick up some Turtlebeach x31s to replace my wired x11s that I cracked (still working but want wireless). My dad says wireless audio doesn't work well and I will get tons of interference. Is this true? I am scared to go cash in all of my BestBuy money for a headset I will be sick of due to noise/interference.

The only main reason I want the headset is because I am tired of the cord on my x11s. Also, I just got an HD PVR so it would be easier to record using a little wireless hub connected to the PVR and not the long 10' cords of the x11s.

Please let me know...also, if these are not worth it...would it just be worth it to pick up some XL1's for $40 or even x11/12 for $60 instead?

Thanks

Mine sometimes get a static/buzzing noise whenever I turn on my laptop but other then that they're great and to fix the static sound I just turn the headset off and then back on
