Not just pawn shops in particular. But any store that buys stuff from you. Gamestop, Webuygold.
Im pissed with all of them. I called a pawn shop this morning. Im like i have an xbox 360 with a cam and a Wireless adapter. And a hard drive. I ask him how much would you pay for it. He says 50$ IM LIKE WTF? It was 100$ alone for the freaking adapter. Then im like so hey gamestop. What you going to give me for this stuff. And theres was 60$. 10$ higher. Im just annoyed i mean i payed 350$ for this stuff and all i can get back is 60$ at the most. I didnt expect to get 350$ for it but come on 60$ get outta here.
Reason:
The reason im tryng to sell it is because im trying to get that 250gb one. The slim.

I hate gamestop for selling stuff..I brought in like 25 games all ps2 and xbox and gamecube games. I got $5.28 for all of that..I looked at them like they were retarded..Total that all costs $1250 so uhm yeahhhhh

Apparently you don't understand how these places work. They buy your used items for cheap and have to turn around and re-sell them. They can't give you more than what they do or else they won't make any money. If you really have that big of a deal with them, don't go there. It's simple business.

thats why ebay and craigslist/kijiji are good tools, you can set your own price and depending on how fair the prices you set are, you will get it
