Thanks...but..if there's anyway i could fix it i wouldn't have to pay for a new one :/

EDIT: Also when i plug my play and charge kit in it works..but when i don't plug it in it won't work. And yes the battery is charged :/

Well in that case it's more than likely the battery contacts.
Take a look at them and fiddle around with them with the end of a screwdriver to get them to point straight up and actually make contact with the battery.

Have you opened it lately?

Throw it on the ground it helps.

i've had it for at least two years :/ Could i lie and tell them i've only had it a few months?
