Youtube will get a new layout in the next days.
If you want you could test it now.
Just follow these instructions:

1. open youtube.com

2.
Google Chrome: type in: Ctrl+Shift+J
Firefox: type in: ctrl+Shift+K

3. That should open the console. Copy and paste the following:

document.cookie=VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE=ST1Ti53r4fU;

4. Reload the page.

If you got an error message just try the following:

document.cookie='VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE=ST1Ti53r4fU';

i love my background too
You could try it in private mode! If dont like it, just close your browser.

But now i need a new channel background. My actual doesnt fit anymore. All youtubers will change their background if youtube releases the new layout!

if youtube will activate this layout everybody has to update their background
