To make a long story short, The U.S is trying to pass a censorship law for the internet.
Think about this: No youtube, twitter, etc. Any website you can put your opinion up, will be shutdown in the U.S!

P.S (Personally, I live in Canada, but I mean, no youtube for you guys? Yikes!)
At 9:15am they will try to pass it.
I already voted against it.

They have already tried to pass this 3 times.
First of all, Republicans control the house. They are VERY greedy, and they make a ton of money off taxing these sites.
Second, the country would turn against the government if this actually passed.

They would never pass a bill that violates the freedoms this country has fought for for 200+ years. That is like a child stealing a cookie when his mom isn't looking and giving it to his mom. It contradicts itself. There is no way the government would or even could go against the ideology that this country is founded on.

This will NEVER get passed. I mean like really. You honestly think that they will censor the internet? New sites are made each and every day, and new hacks/bypasses are made each and everyday. By the time they fix one bypass there will be another and so on.
