That being said.....

Welcome to my tutorial on how to jailbreak an idevice running on apple's newly released os4.


Files Needed:

Download iOS 4.0 for iPhone 4

Jail-breaking The I-phone
Step one: Open sn0wbreeze
Step Two: If you don't know what your doing hit simple mode, otherwise hit Expert mode.
Step Three: Open your corresponding .Ipsw File.
Step four: Follow the on-screen instructions =)


Unlocking The Iphone:

Step one: Open cydia
Step two: Add the repo:(Http;//repo666.ultrasn0w.com) to your sources.
Step three: search for ultrasn0w
Step four: Install and follow on-screen instructions

Note: Make sure you has your SHSH blobs saved on cydia's servers before you upgrade to anything above 3.1.3 to ensure downgrading.

Update 1: I will make this look nicer with pictures later.

O lol but will I lose all my stuff if I'm already jailbroken then update to 4.0 then jailbreak again?

Yes, that is why you back up your stuff to itunes first.

If you have cracked apps, download appsnyc so that you can sync them to itunes.


Update: Repo for appsync is from sinfuliphone

this isnt really a good tutorial as it doesnt tell you what you have to do after sn0wbreeze or how to really do anything , i personally liked using redsn0w better for the os4 was much quicker as you didnt have to spend the time restoring as you do with sn0wbreeze ima go jailbreak my iphone again , took it out as it was going slow and kept coming up the safe mode and you couldnt get out :O
