Yeah you can. Infact, its better if you record in 720. 1080p rendering takes forever.

And no you won't need any extra cables unless you dont have a Composite Cable.

Red white, blue green and red. one.

Blue green and red should branch off from red and white.


If you don't have that, don't panic. Thery are sold in most gaming stores for like 15 pounds/20 dollars.

Also you can get them online for 1/3 of the price.
