For example, Skrillex is an Electro House artist, not a dubstepper. However, I can appreciate his work for what it actually is.

This, on the other hand is dubstep. Great stuff, too. Just amazing.

Yep. All the artists people tend to like, especially on here where people have such crap tastes, have gotten way out of touch with the "soul" of the music. That's not to say a few popular artists don't have a few songs that adhere to what dubstep should be. I enjoy many of Bassnectar's songs, namely Window Seat, Boomerang, and Timestretch, along with a few others. Even Excision made Sleepless, which is, in my opinion, quite a step forward for someone with his style. I wouldn't go as far as to call many of those songs dubstep, though. People say I don't like dubstep, but they don't actually know what dubstep is.
